Loss of framerate since the 1.9 update ?

Am I the only who noticed that ?
Ok, I've a pretty big zoo :

I've 2700 guests and 300 animals. Before the 1.9 I was around 16 FPS and 29 FPS when I was pausing the game. It's low but enough to enjoy for me.
Now, I'm around 10 FPS and 15 FPS when I pause the game !!!
Do you also have this issue or am I the only one ?
Please Frontier, could you patch this performance issue ? I would love to play correctly again in my main zoo :'(

I feel like every time after a major update, people complain the performance got worse. i would give it few days, I am sure Frontier will work on a patch after the Easter Holidays. Though for me, any big zoo is unfortunately unplayable, was always like that for me.
Indeed, I forgot about the holidays !
Hope this will be resolve in the next patch, thanks for reassuring words !

I'm a little shock frontier or planet zoo teams doesn't make any announce or message for all the report send about the trouble until the 1.9 .

only a few message will be good.

a big error of communication I think and it's so frustationg to stay in the fog witout answer or info

It's a national holiday here in England, nobody has been at work since last Thursday. I'm sure they'll be working on some bugfixes when we go back to work tomorrow.

Except all the people who have worked...
like public transport, supermarkets, TV/media... you'll find there are probably more people at work than aren't during Easter (with the exception of Sunday).

I too have noticed a huge lag when playing from 1.9.
Radeon RX580 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 here.

Yeah I've definitely noticed this too. It's really hard to tell for me because I'm just starting out the zoo, but I have noticed a dip inthe frame rate. One thing to mention is the fact that the frame rate increases in an area with no animals in it. Then when I go back to an area with animals, like my Flamingo exhibit, it falls back down. Idk, just something I noticed.

And your evidence for this?
It isn't about who is wrong or right but your sweeping statement of "nobody is at work" is mis-leading at best.
No need to get so defensive.
I think you need to be careful when reading online that you don't infer a tone that might not exist - I agree you could read this as snarky but they could also read your original reply as defensive and snarky. Maybe best to assume goodwill on all sides especially as the original post was giving information to someone that they likely didn't have if they aren't based in the UK.

I don't think in this case evidence is necessary, it's a national public holiday and companies usually only pay staff on a public holiday if they are working in a job that is likely to be needed for public safety or because it's a good time for them to make a profit because usually they would need to pay more. It's also school holidays which means staff who are parents would take time off anyway to provide childcare. They didn't communicate over Christmas or on any other bank holiday, they've never released anything on a national holiday, I'm not sure why Easter would be any different.
