Elite dangerous protest day

What if the whole community stops playing elite dangerous for 1 day in protest of the lack of development updates and information on bug fixes?
Good luck with that.

But you have my support, as I haven't played since the last bounty hunting CG. So Frontier, if you're listening and the OP gets his blockade, all you have to do to break the blockade is fire up another combat-focused community goal, and I'll be there!

By the way, I still think the next big thing are Thargoid on foot CZs which explains why they have become so silent after the last update. It fits perfectly to the console and planet tiling news. If I am right people are asking for the impossible, they are nor going to spoil it.

"With Aegis now officially disbanded, its fleet is being temporarily operated by Frontline Solutions."

Without taking into account that the proposal from OP is highly unfeasible (it's impossible for people to agree on something these days), why do some of you feel the need to mocking them? at the end of the day, even if you didn't care, you would also benefit from it. Or is it like "oh no, dev transparency and news would kill my game experience!11!! doom"?

I only play one day a week because I'm catching up on some other games I want to play for a while, so there's a six in seven chance that I'll help.

Seriously though, what would be the impact on Frontier? It's not like it's going drop their income at all. Companies like this look at their earnings over quarters of the year so a one day drop of people who would have paid for Arx on a particular day but didn't because they didn't play because of this protest is going to be a handful of sand in the Sahara.

Well, there's this prickly little issue that just came up:

"Thargoid fleets have invaded the Didio, Novas and Sosong systems, placing over ten billion lives at risk."

So your plan would result in the needless death of billions of innocent men, women and children.
Think of the children.

I think this idea is stupid. I propose that we protest this protest by playing Elite Dangerous for one day.
And then chop down a tree. With a herring.

Heehee. Reminds me of the "Doctor Who day of protest" in 1990 where fans were meant to jam the switchboard of the BBC to complain about the show being cancelled. I think about 10 people bothered.
Well, they're still doing it, just in different time periods spanning the last 30 years.
