My whole squadron are looking to move over but we cannot find the info

My guess would be for something in the livestream after U12 as the earliest point when we'll get something more.

There's still no info about when. The only official info so far is the one in the OP. Everything else is just guessing.
That is because it isn't published yet, if you want to find more than is in the Dev posts you will have to break into Frontier one night and rummage through their files.
Anything further than "console transfer, free copy... Soon™" , been posted yet?

This thread is in the 'News & Bulletins' section of the ED forum, any further news is likely to be posted here (it may be posted in other places too).
Go to the main page for the 'News & Bulletins' section (here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forums/elite-dangerous-news/) and near the top right you will see buttons for 'mark as read' and 'watch'. Click the 'watch' button.
Now any new thread that is posted here will appear in your news feed. In you account options you can choose to have the forum send you an e-mail notification if you like.
The Community Managers are currently putting some stuff on their website too but they've been posting here with a link to a web page anyway.
Don't give them ideas.

That's good news. Still 3-4 months to go, but at least there's an eta now!!

i really don't understand why frontier just didn't put the effort to at least release on current gen (series and ps5 ). they would have made some money and not angered the console community. people on old gen would have understood and most would have probably upgraded eventually. confusing.
I'm not excluding this.
But... they need to do a lot of optimization to be able to run Odyssey on XBX/PS5 in 4k / 60fps - slse they will get stoned by every player and every gaming magazine.
And not at last... maybe they're not sure they'll have the game still running in 2024 or beyond. And launching Elite on consoles by the end of 2022 only to shut it down 1-2 years later doesnt make much sense
