Elite Dangerous: Odyssey | Update 12 Update Notes

this is so long that looks like day 1 patch or 2nd patch, but it's almost an anniversary patch
what a year eh? 200 bugs to fix still, would be so nice if we had a beta, right? RIGHT?

2023 might be ready to launch and play at average fps, see ya next patch commanders

Especially since the T10 is essentially a T9 shipkit, yet still got a shipkit. Meanwhile the T9 is still without one, so are the FAS, FDS, T7, AspS, CMKIV, VMKIV, Iagle, DBS and Hauler. T9 has a raider kit, but I absolutely don't like those.

Only popular ships get cosmetics in ED. How expensive and complicated must it be for Frontier to add a decent selection of cosmetics for ALL ships? Given that they want to make money from having paid cosmetic options in game. IF its too much work and not cost effective to add cosmetics in game for the less popular vessels, then something is very wrong with their backend creation process if it is preventing them from giving their customers a varied selection and....you know.. selling them for a profit.

I often save my ARX because their is nothing to spend them on. When Frontier do a Cosmetics sale, then i off load my ARX bucket and get their typically overpriced cosmetics for free. If however their was a rich selection at a reduced ARX cost i would often buy cosmetics in game... regular enough to empty my free ARX bin and god forbit... pay them real cash money for more ARX.

I guess Frontier dont like money.

Not quite. The Crusader is extremely low in the list and has a shipkit, while the T9 ranks #8 and several others of the kitless ships sit in the middle whereabouts.
Edit: Ok, my error, the Crusader hasn't got a kit yet, the FGS and Orca do however.

I have 3 Restore missions that cant be completed (system Anmatyerre)
For the first one i got the mission objective after landed, powered up the settlement then no "closure" as in no Leave the settlement message... but i didnt really noticed that and i left the settlement while the mission is still appearing as active.
Next 2 restore missions i dont even go the mission objective after landing...

Just had a CTD in a settlement, when I walked into a building.... Deflating feeling.
Reckon I'm done until the patch patch lands.
CTDs apart, it's pretty in line with my expectations from the patch notes. Some marginal improvements on some fronts, some steps back in others and some curious new bugs (not being able to look around when Station Services is open is particularly annoying). Yet, I'm fairly disappointed the placeholder/body draw range bug isn't fixed yet. I know it wasn't listed in the patch notes, but I was hoping it would've made it through nonetheless. Not sure how I feel about another three months of that.

They are pretty much heading towards crunch for the F1 manager release, they yesterday announced the release date and social media buzz is pretty massive. I doubt many devs, if even plural at all, will be working on ED(O) the coming months. This patch pretty much falls in that line: they fix some bugs, they add some bugs, virtually no performance gains and the 'headline features' would normally be on the bottom of the list.

I've actually managed to win a lo surface cz, but cannot call the FS shuttle. I have assigned a battle summary key, which should be the same for the shuttle call (at least that's how it used to work for me). I even assigned an alternate key for the summary, but to no avail. I have very little experience with surface cz, is this possibly an older bug? Maybe everyone doesn't care as long as you can book an Apex shuttle, the combat bonds are still there. But that got me way over a mountain though, at the end of the climb I had to make use of the jet-pack.
If you happen to have relogged at a CZ, the option to call for an extraction after the CZ ends is not available.

Seems like many people can't land Anaconda's on ANY planet without using a Landing pad. Can ANYONE land an Anaconda on the surface?
