Yep. Just posted that in the Starfield thread.
And working NPCs! And doors and ramps that don't kill you.
Started production in 2015. From zero to release in 7 years.
3 years to make it playable. Well, any longer and things would have become stale

AI mechs that lead you out of your ships and introduce you to the planet you've just landed on.
A complete rework of how combat looks and feels.
More industrial looking small bases, and bigger!
Throw more alienesque lifeforms on planet, in fact, scrap all the planets, they just don't look as good as those in Starfield. It all needs reworking! Well just tell the backers to not be so impatient, fidelity takes time! Pledge more!

SC shills can stop holding their breath, they get tons of arguments about how SC is still far beyond the competition.
Though, once again another game will be released largely before SC, will fullfil its proposition,, will feature a functional game, an effective UI, etc... But sure nothing can compete with dreams.txt.
I expect a peak of the funding tracker anytime soon.

To be honest I can spot quite a few lines taken from that dreams.txt that are in Bethesda's presentation... It will be increasingly difficult for cultists to achieve the mental gymnastics and avoid that reality.

I don't worry about that. They'll find even the tiniest bit of feature to invalidate whatever competition comes to fruition. Bedsheets, FOIP, fideliciousity of ice cubes... And ultimately will rely on things like "only because Chris dreamt that big other studios now try to copy the visionary"
