Banging off 12 Limpets and relaxing just like I do with Plat Mining (totally unconcerned with CR/hour), I didn't give a
about 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100% return rate while watching Netflix on days off, I just love doing what I like doing and as it was new to me - I did enjoy it.If you are so concerned with 100% success rate, wait for the "Bug Fix" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha - it will remain forever broken as its in Maint Mode (I'm sure FDEV will do it..................NOT!).

Yeah, I'm not going to rage about it but they are really seeming to stomp the enthusiasm from some newer players quick with stuff that goes like this especially once they figure out that to be in the upper tiers to get any real reward means A LOT of it. Just a shame. Could be done in a way that makes it far more enjoyable for people to participate in and get some level of reward rather than all fight to see who can position their T9's just so and how much boredom they can tolerate.
Guardian site CG was similar and I think where a few them 'noped' out.

Nah - I just tried in EDO and EDH and it certainly doesn't want you doing that - unless they've found a glitched way to do it.
Given the previous '90%' claim it's more likely they don't know the difference between MLC and Research Limpets - which certainly let you get up to 10 or 11.

I can give you better advice - you should reach Allied status with Thargoids, and they will give many samples for free. This way you can reach 300% efficiency.
Remember the 30% caustic Hull Reinforcement Packages during the beta that got removed. If only Palin offered those.

I noticed the Sampling issue is now fixed, is that new? https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/49387 I thought is was outstanding earlier. I wonder if that means they have fixed it in a upcoming build, or if they think they actually fixed it in p12
Well, they did have a non-relogging sampling CG planned, but someone got it cancelled ...
And since sampling is still broken it won't be happening any time soon
It’s not broken, it’s just not 100%, and who says it should be? Sometimes limpets crash and that’s not 100% either. I think they should have gone along with it, research limpets still retrieve plenty of samples and the failure rate still affects everybody so it’s fair.

I think really we're seeing about a 50% success rate, but FD have never said this was intended. So when we asked whether it should be 100% a CM fed the question back. Next thing, the expected CG turned out to be a Guardian relogging one instead. That's all we really know and it's pretty opaque. Well, the tracker was saying the issue was fixed. If they had decided it was working as intended wouldn't they have rejected it instead?

That and the fact that three systems right next to Arque (Didio, Novas and Sosong) have had permanent NHSS reappear that contain farmable sensors and probes...
