Player Community Goal: Deliver commodities to help analyse and attempt to jam the Proteus Wave

You DISGUST me. HOW DARE YOU betray our OWN SPECIES you VILE SCUM?

We Anti Xenos will NOT stand by in the face of such TREACHEROUS actions. Expect your ships to be blow to smithereens if you DARE to try and deliver cargo to these FOOLS.
I will always stand on the side of those who are trying to protect their homes against an invading aggressor, no matter what race, skin colour or other arbitrary "qualifiers".
If there was anything like a "Galactic Court of Human Rights", humanity would lose this case against the Thargoids - humans are the aggressors, those using biological weapons of mass destruction, and now preparing a new weapon of mass destruction, while trying to lure as many victims into the blast radius of it.
I am not a Far-god worshipper or Thargoid fangirl. I oppose what by any ethical standards has to be called wrong and inhumane.
You only have your hate and short-sightedness. We, to modify an old trope, have the moral high-ground.

Oh, and... on top of turning against your own species (threatening the human (!) commanders who support Operation Breakwater), you also have failed to realise that the delivery time is over, anyway - and successfully so. Go back to your cave, you are late to the party, anyway.

How many Thargoid women and children and non combatants were killed by the virus ? Which was delivered by the pilot who was then killed by their own side ? What would have happened if the tide was turned ? What would humans do ? Find out who was responsible and hunt them down . Honest guv we didn't do nuffin , we were attacked for no reason sounds familiar ?
Can you estimate how many bodies are strewn in the inra bases ? Or the amount of people killed by those in charge?
Yup you are innocent 😜
You're talking about the mycoid virus. That was so long ago even Torval hadn't been born. Really has no bearing on the current conflict. Still, as to how many thargoid civilians were killed by the deployment of mycoid, the answer is easy to calculate. Zero. They deployed the weapon against a thargoid capital ship, the very definition of a military target.

Humanity faced a hyper-aggressive species with advanced technology that would not stop coming. We found a chink in its armor and so we struck. Now they've come back and we'll do it again.

Sirius INC and myself are very happy to have been part of this enterprise and its success. Our facilities and carriers are on standby for phase 2.

Salvation has slipped into madness. His direction for INRA at Carmichael Point proved to be a mistake and here we are in the future seeing the same person once again doing the same task and expecting different results. Is that not the definition of insanity?

We will not stand idly by and do nothing. Let history judge us.

There is no reasoning with disgusting bugs. We tried diplomacy, we tried not to attack them, what do they do? Attack us right back. Don't be foolish, targoids are barely sapient as it is.

You really think you can negotiate peace with a territorial xenophobic species, but you can't. How many more humans need to die for you people to realize we have to all work together to WIPE them OUT?

The guardians were the first to fall, do you want our empire to also be reduced to mere ruins on some washed-up planets?

That's the problem, we never tried diplomacy. We've aggressed from day one.

With the way humanity's going, I think we're the ones that need wiping out.

Biased information that's unverifiable. Ram Tah sells anti-Thargoid guns, of course he's going to tell you 'aliens bad'.

Depends on whose history you read really . The capital ship was hit so that it would be maximum spread the virus . So no thought to innocent lives . If Cmdr J was fully aware of what it would do he wouldn't have delivered it. So long ago ? Inra aegis are all the same with their own little security squadron who are quite happy to kill everyone just for maximum profits . And who was hit first ? Hmmm I wonder . They are reacting to our threat . They could have attacked Sol ( no 1 military target ) but they didn't . Go and hit a hornet's nest with a short stick and see what happens .
Humans have always thought they were the chosen ones and now got themselves in a tizz because they aren't special or superior so they fall back on the ole , they are different let's kill them they are just animals . As far as I am concerned you are being played by the media ( it happened waaay back in the 2000's) . Just my thoughts

You are just enforcing my point by using pure racist language, so steeped in your blind hatred that you are unable of enlightened thought. I pity you, and I pity humanity for the fact that so many individuals still take decisions based on prejudice and fear. We should have come farther than this, as a race.
The guardians were the first to fall, do you want our empire to also be reduced to mere ruins on some washed-up planets?
Even here, you are ignoring facts and logical thinking. Not to the Thargoids the Guardians fell, but to their own hybris and their weapons which they, in the end, failed to control.
Do you want humanity to go the same way? Because that is the way Salvation is leading you on.

Some have the anti war campaign, some have the peace march. If you wanna stand with us - park in one of thargoid systems for the proteus firing and turn the music up.

Looks like I called it. The world did their work for them <3
Most of the members of operation breakwater are anti-sirius, the this cg forces us to take excess goods to support a war effort supplied by a defence agreement we fought hard against in cgs (winning the leesti cg) and the media. To top that the EGAs are selling at near galactic in a 1 sided cg in a way that gives us little choice but to support for the greater good.

Lets say this rankles more than a little bit.
