My list is probably quite unique, but I'm focusing on animals that are mostly fairly different from what we currently have in game. I'd love to see animals like Swans swimming around guest areas and more aquatic animals in general, along with flightless birds.

Here's my wishlist:

1. Platypus
2. Walrus
3. Great White Pelican
4. Atlantic Puffin
5. Secretary Bird
6. Green Sea Turtle
7. Bottlenose Dolphin
8. Mute Swan
9. West Indian Manatee
10. Grey Crowned Crane
11. Shoebill
12. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
13. Tasmanian Devil
14. Emu
15. Quokka
16. Raccoon
17. African Crested Porcupine
18. Marabou Stork
19. Common Wombat
20. Musk Ox
21. North Island Brown Kiwi
22. Saiga
23. Makhor
24. Asiatic Lion
25. Wolverine

I must add to this that I am very much in the camp that would like to see both aviary animals and fully aquatic animals. I think these would diversify the game, bringing some truly game-changing mechanics that would revive the community. Whilst I really appreciate the conservation message for the game, I think the marine animals, in particular could be brought in with more of a 'sanctuary' - animal retirement and rehabilitation than an entertainment focus. Guests could still visit this and it would be in fitting with the game's ethos. My caveat in this is this wouldn't include large animals like whales for me, but would include smaller animals like dolphins and sharks.

In terms of this, including to support current animals I think it is essential that we need an official solution to underwater tunnels to be implemented in game, which having conducted a poll on Reddit, proved a very popular suggestion.
@random goat Based on the new rules you’ve posted, please could I replace my Platypus (now in Wetlands Pack) with one vote for Red River Hog? They make me smile!

If I can also replace the Grey Crowned Crane (as we got a Red Crowned Crane in Wetlands pack), I’d like to add a vote for the Javan Gibbon.

This is off topic, you should make a seperate thread in the wishlist category

Can’t believe I haven’t added mine yet! Thank you for this thread, I think Frontier are definitely paying attention and hopefully this helps them in animal choices.

I sent this list in last month it can be found on Page 117. I looked through to see where the animals I voted for stack up in the Meta-List and came across the Asian Narrow-Headed Softshell Turtle, and the Indian Narrow-Headed Softshell Turtle in the list. Asian has 2 votes (which after digging though to find the other votes I concluded my vote went to this species), and Indian has 1 vote. At the time I was not aware that 2 species of Narrow-Headed Softshell Turtles existed, as I picked this based on a visit to the St. Louis Zoo where I was fascinated by it. I did some research though and can say the species that the St. Louis Zoo has and the species I'd prefer my vote to go towards is actually the Indian Narrow-Headed Softshell Turtle. There are 3 votes currently for these 2 species combined and the other 2 did distinctly pick which species they preferred, so I know for a fact that my vote did go towards Asian Narrow-Headed Softshell Turtle. I don't know if this possible to fix but I'd appreciate it if so. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for taking the time.

Here is my Endangered Animals Meta Wishlist:

You have already submitted a list with 25 animals.
Updating my list since the conservation pack release. I would also happily change my #7 sloth from the previous three-toed to two-toed if I'm able to, as I know more about their status in captivity now than when I voted before. But I understand completely if you don't want to allow that :)

Apr 14, 2022
Unfortunately changes to existing votes are not allowed unless they are very recent or very specific and ambiguous cases (like in @VideoVandal 's case, below). Sorry!

Replacing the platypus but not the crane, sorry.

Read @NachoB's wise advise.

and the sloth update!
If you ever plan to start this thread over, I'd recommend specifying Direct and Generic Votes for any Animal in your document from the start, so it is easier for you to manage the thread in the long run. To be fair it was probably already too late before you decided against redoing the thread annually again, when this particular thread received a lot of attention. By then the Format of your Logs were incompatible with managing a Long-Term Thread. Something to consider for next time if Support is extended.

Would make things a lot easier for you and eliminate any concerns about how other Species Groups are doing in comparison. Because I remember you had those concerns when deciding to fix the Sloths. The lingering question of "What about others?"

I think the Gibbons would be majprly affected. Many people voted for a specific Gibbon, usually Lar, but the impression I get now is that many people are also satisfied with just the Siamang, even if they voted for another Gibbon.

Please don't spam the thread repeatedly with the same suggestion. It would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!
You mean me? Because I think this is the first time I recommended a Universal Method to log and manage Generic Votes in the Long Run. The other suggestion was particularly on Sloths, which is already resolved now. This one on the other hand is to help Random Goat with their concerns about other Animals, which they recently told me in Direct Messages.

I think the Gibbons would be majprly affected. Many people voted for a specific Gibbon, usually Lar, but the impression I get now is that many people are also satisfied with just the Siamang, even if they voted for another Gibbon.
Users can already vote for another Animal if they voted for Generic Gibbon. If they specified Lar or another species, then they can't. In order to fix it, the Thread has to be redone, even my Recommendation wouldn't be of any help there.

What I recommended above for Random Goat is a Behind the Scenes thing really, so they know exactly when to swap Generic Votes to be added on top of another Species, when that Particular Species has more Direct Votes after a certain period of time, compared to the Species that originally received the Generic Votes.

let's keep it friendly please, thank you :)
I hope this had nothing to do with my Findings? Wasn't here to witness what happened.
Was this Warning also related to my Suggestion? Because I wasn't around to see any Unfriendly Comments before they were deleted.
