I just went to all these places, hand a relic and a probe in my hold, nothing at all. Just some hogwash as per usual. Remember to fact check people with videos. Most people have shadowplay or some form of recording software. Also visited the Zurara too, all fine.

Well, certainly glad to hear the Zurara is still where it was and is fine, saves me a trip, thanks!
I don't think the story has progressed yet. I think the mysterious race known as "The Developers" won't allow much to happen until the "4.0" thing is finished being rolled out for Horizons players, etc.
Too right... Its been a bit too long waiting for the foot exploration stuff to be incorporated. I'm looking forwards to investigating sites inside and out in future.
well, somewhat glad that the sites were quiet at least. that would've been really weird...

I did, nothing happened. Not even credits reward because there's no repair mission generated in the comms tab.
The escape hatch still works if you want to salvage some escape pods.
Yeah, I just gave up on holding out at the edge of the COL 70 Sector and came back home. I guess I'll just keep an eye on Galnet news articles and wait for hints that COL 70 might (or actually WILL) be opened up to explore that area.

For a long time? I believe broken thargoid sensors for instance all come back with that message.
g'damnit. I have 4010 hours in this game, and since horizons that'll be mostly surface gameplay, exclusively odyssey since launch - and I've never seen one till now!?!?

I think the random sensors on planets (the non-permanent ones) have only been a thing since Odyssey.

They're all over the galaxy in most regions, I think the thargs sent out billions of probes to find out just how far the human infestation has spread, they are coming for us, even Colonia isn't safe!
One interesting idea (and maybe it's not original, maybe it was already exposed in the forum) - what if Thargoids are essential part of galactic ecosystem? What if they maintain

Heh.... imagine if Barnacles precede Thargoid occupation not because they're a forward operating base, but because Barnacles are the warning sign of something far worse, and the appearance of Thargoids is to keep Barnacles in-check before they develop into that something far worse.

Yeah, I'm sure the green gas coming off the barnacle "snout" isn't new and has been around long before HIP 22460 became goidapalooza.
