How many Headliner animals are left?

I think that the black rhinoceros would take the most work, actually. They move quite different than the ones we've got, and it also would only make sense if they'd put some work into the eating animations. Honestly, I would prefer if they spend their time with some other animals.
Out of those three the camel takes the less work. Has no antlers and they just need to change the model on some details. It does bother me a little bit that we have black rhino and dromedary wall decor that is clearly model after those species but none of those animals are ingame BUT i don't really care about the deer statue. It just looks like a generic and inespecific deer statue. Or are there other red deer decorations i'm forgeting about? Because the statue could be literally any deer (or almost)
Because it is of reskin level priority and just a very similar second african rhino.

It really doesn’t even matter. If you like the animal or not is irrelevant. We all have animals we want to see in PZ more then others I get that. But the fact of the matter is and this is a fact. The black rhino is not a reskin nor are a lot of other animals posted in these threads. And yes NZ had a good point sometimes your opinion in these threads does seem to be all that matters.
Black rhino is definitely not a reskin, they are quite distinct from the two other species we have in the game. Personally I don't mind if we don't get black rhino, two rhinos are enough for me but I would be happy to get a black or a Sumatran rhino. Indifferent on Javan... it is unrealistic anyway and is very similar to the Indian rhino

The biggest differences are behaviors and movements. This animal could not be a reskin because it would need to be made from the scratch

No problem. I you would ever like to check how amazing black rhinoceros run watch some movies on YouTube always with the tail up
I think that the great anniversary clone animal that would make a lot of people happy would be highly requested tropical leopard.
Personally I would love the Indian one because of it’s vivid colors and the melanistic variant.

I doubt both that we would ever get a free leopard, as it both diminishes the jaguar and the amur leopard and their respective dlcs, or that most people would be particulary happy about it.
For 1, our amur leopard allready is in summer coat, so without the fluff they are gonna look more similar to the tropical ones anyways, and second the amur leopard allready got quite the mixed feedback from the community.
Many people felt that it was a jaguar clone in the same niche as the siberian tiger, with alot of voices here saying after the dlc that they realused that they didnt actually want the leopard and rather just to finish the collection, which is fair and good, but now that the collection is finished i doubt people would be to happy about getting the final rather underwhelming one a second time just a few months later

Looking alike lemur from the same biome is ok but another subspecies of leopard diminishes others species? Let’s not be silly here. We all live in a tiny bubble in this community. I actually read the opinions of the people from outside and they were very happy with the Amur leopard. Our community here seems to be cranky about nearly everything I suppose.
People from outside this community write thousands of messages and comments that they desire dolphins and eagles and here wanting dolphins is a crime. I think that frontier values our opinions but the mass customer is what they value the most.
Clone animal is something that is nearly the same in form as the nominal species so black rhino or dromedary is not quite in this category. Also our Amur leopard looks nothing like any of the Tropical ones but has the same body structure, so?
Many people that I know from here and from outside this community still crave tropical leopard subspecies and I have no idea why do you doubt that?
Can African leopard headline the hypothetical safari animal pack? I am sure it can.

If we get a free animal looking just like them, that will make people buy their dlcs less, making it a bad financial mive fir frontier.
For the rest i agree that the forums can be quite the echochambers, both positive and negative, as it makes people fine tune idears, but also blocks others out completly like for example domestic animals.
And no, a tripple clone cant headline any not clone pack and i really doubt that thats a controversial thing to say.
Or do you think a third brown bear or tiger would be legitimate headliners outside of a clone pack
yeah, I really have to agree. It's fine for them to put a similar species into two different DLC packs (like the otters or penguins) but making them free? It would reduce the value of the DLC - for some. Not me personally, but there would definitely be push back if they for example gave us a grey kangaroo for free. There would be unhappy comments about how they paid for the Australia pack just to get a kangaroo, and now there's one for free. And while I wouldn't be unhappy, I would consider that a very valid complaint.
It's why I keep hoping for another giraffe. It's a highly recognizable animal that we only have one type of. A lion is another possibility.
