I'm in the Bubble a lot, so I'll look out for any graffiti. Hopefully my hardware specs allow me to see them though, as I saw it mentioned it can affect whether Commanders are able to see them or not.

Out of interest, are these on proper Space Stations with all facilities, or do they occur on Outpost type Stations too?

but so far we're still on Kyrix's 8+1 reports plus the one I found nearby (see OP).

Those locations don't give us much to base a pattern off:
  • They're all in Low/Medium sec systems with a single Starport and low-ish populations (<26M)
  • They seem to prefer PMFs, though there is one MF (Alioth Independents) that has appeared in Galnet opposing Sirius (Alioth Independents, Operation Ida, Anti Xeno Initiative, Terran Colonial Forces, The Hive)

Neither of these seems predictive - other matching locations have no graffiti. Since most of the locations are in the the Pleiades they will tend to be lower security, smaller population and run by PMFs so may all be selection bias.

Things that don't seem to show any pattern at all:
  • Lots of different economies (High Tech, Refinery, Military, Extraction, Industrial )
  • Lots of types of government (Confederacy, Democracy, Cooperative, Patronage) - I guess you could stare hard and say these are more permissive government types, but you could also say 'these are common government types'

Some places I have checked:
  • Witch Head and Coalsack nebulae (as they should be as nervous about Thargoids as the Pleiades) : Nothing
  • Stations around the superpower headquarters (as the last two found are close to Alioth in Alliance space and disquiet with the superpowers seems a likely reason for the graffiti): Nothing (other than the 10th location).
  • Canonn-space (if there was a link between PMFs being involved in the AX story and graffiti they would be a reasonable target): Nothing

Running out of ideas, other than a random walk across the bubble ... probably should check T Tauri (as Azimuth would be a good candidate, but pretty remote and not good for spotting patterns) (done), and maybe the California Nebula (Alliance, Thargoids, but again won't be predictive).

It just seems weird to tweet about looking for graffiti when it appears so rare ... must be missing something obvious 🤔

Tried a fairly random selection of stations on the way from the Pleiades back towards the bubble but no grafitti spotted. I can't currently decide if this is just a bit of fun (excellent tho that might be) or whether it's indicative of a stronger bit of developing narrative. The latter seems slightly unlikely given the grafitti takes both pro and anti Azimuth angles.

Certainly they could have placed the graffiti manually in hand-selected locations (though why you would choose those two Alliance locations I have no clue). Kinda hoping that the plan is to increase graffiti as the Stargoid approaches - but that would probably mean a procgen distribution, hence trying to work out some patterns. Possibly the current stuff is hand-placed to test it? No idea :)

Anything on the correct gfx settings? I have yet to see any graffiti myself.. Dont tell me I am a special case :D

Did you go to any of the known locations? I don't know of any gfx settings (I don't run ultra and see them fine) other than 'must be playing Odyssey' ;)

I've visited about 4 or 5 Spaceports so far in the Bubble and found nothing. If I find any, I'll post on this thread, as I think it's easier to say when we've found them, rather than not.

Is there any (even tenuous) correlation with the litter prevalence in the stations? (I still have not reinstalled ED after an OS drive failure.)

I had an opportunity to check at the asteroid base "Medusa's Rock" in Crescent Sector GW-W c1-8...sadly no graffiti...
