I know I'm probably not the right one to have an opinion on this, but if the Twilight pack were a person, I would feel bad for them. I get the excitement for something new always and I also understand that this pack is not for everyone. But seeing it reduced to just "the filler pack before we get birds" it's kind of frustrating.
Plus: While I do get why everyone thinks next pack will be the bird pack and I kind of think so myself, it still could entirely be that that will +not+ be the case. Maybe it's somewhere down the line but not the winter pack, who knows? They wouldn't even really fit for winter, so maybe they'll come next summer, when sales for DLCs are usually lower than during the holidays, were more or less everything sells well.
And last but not least, I know I'm in the minority here in the forums (but saw @Colehunter35 feeling similar), but birds are not for everyone and I still think that it might very well be that Frontier will not market a full on birds DLC. And yes, I know some of you bird lovers compare it with us having mammals all the time, yadda yadda. I still think that's not the same and a full on bird pack would be compareable with a full on primate pack- Primates are divers as well and still, even that I'm a primate lover, I know enough people that aren't.
Mixed packs usually have one animal for everyone and therefor maximise the sales. And to be quite honest, when we look at how devided the community is over this pack, it's the perfect example! All mammals we have in this pack are fairly small. For me? A dream pack! But a lot of people are asking for at least one bigger animal and are missing it. That's what happens when a pack is "too focused".
In summary: I think ya'll are getting your birds one way or another. But personally I'd be happier and more relaxed if we could at least discuss some other option for the winter DLC and kind of be ready for the idea that birds might come a few month later. Before teh forum full on blows up in two month. I'd love to have a relaxed end of the year with you guys and the way the community is currently absolutely set on birds in two month, this might not end well.

Looks at least better than the "cage of death" aviary I've seen this summer at a castle park (where it seemed as if some of the birds won't survive this year...because it didn't seem as if there was any keeper available if something happens...and theoretically every idiot can throw cigarettes, crap, etc into the aviary (because it can be reached 24/7)...
But...did they build this one 20 years ago?
I wouldn't see it as a filler pack.....not at all. Except for the themed pieces, I'm very happy with it (can't understand why there seem to be so much people who don't like that...

I love and hate this pack. I really hate it because is a scenery pack, because if it would have been an animal pack would have been much better, but even the scenery really sucks, the worst scenery we had since arctic pack. But i love it because the animals are very good, specially the wombat, raccoon and the bat, fox is good and skunk very meh. But i really hope we will get birds, the game needs them and more primates, but firstly birds

i''m not a big fan of the themeatic scenery myself, but I LOVE LOVE the new foliage
Is everyone really digging into the themed scenery and forgetting about the amazing selection of gothic castle/European cottage pieces. I would arguably say this is my most desired scenery pack yet. Animals wise it's a really good choice as I have been wanting ground critter expansions for so long - skunk should of been a porcupine but overall it's a fine choice

this is my fav. pack, i love the cottage and gothic pieces! My main thing about this pack is the foliage and my favorite animal roster of ANY dlc.
I really like the animals, wombat seems to be a very cool animal, but the scenery... i repeat, Planet coaster horror pack with Planet zoo filter. I know people will enjoy it, but for me is the worst we had, i will not build the Dracula castle in my bear habitat, but i respect you like it
what about the foliagE?
If I remember correctly in only 2-3 of these cages are actually birds...the rest is empty (and there isn't even a sign who to contact if there would be for example a dead bird...
). I can't understand why this seems to be legal in Germany...(where the laws for pets/animals in captivity are so extremely strict)Not really good, the only good for me are the fallen leaves
