India animal pack!

Alrighty then, Indian pack? Ok, here's mine. By the way, all these come from the Jungle Book films/book:

  1. Sloth bear
  2. Lion-tailed macaque
  3. Gray langur
  4. Indian grey mongoose
  5. Indian crested porcupine
  6. Golden jackal
  7. Indian flying fox (WE)
  8. Spectacled cobra (E)

THAT'S A MAMMAL-CENTERED PACK! The Indian Flying Fox belongs to the Aviary Pack and the MOST Indian bird is the Indian Bustard making 8 habitat animals.
AND the Kaisar-i-Hind butterfly is the exhibited animal making nine animals! That's called an Animal Expansion Pack!
George, you don't control what goes into the game. The world doesn't revolve around you. Please, for the love of all that is holy and sacred, stop.

If it bothers you or anyone else so much, just put him on ignore and his posts won't show up. That way you can pretend he doesn't exist. He isn't going to stop.

Dont take him serious, that just feeds him.
See him as what he is, a highly dedicated poster and he stops being annoying and becomes entertaining.
Unless your heatherG then he will never stop being a pain

A few of the species in my pack on the previous page have either been added (striped hyena) or have had a very similar species added (Indian crested porcupine), so I have decided to remake my India Animal Pack. In fact, there are so many good animals I think are missing from India that I have created both an animal pack and a scenery pack.

Animal Pack
1.
Bar-headed goose - Adds the most commonly-kept of the exotic geese in zoos, really a species that would feel at home in basically any zoo
2. Blackbuck - The most commonly-kept of the Asian antelopes globally, visually very striking and a species pretty high on the forum wishlist
3. Four-horned antelope *
4. Indian spotted chevrotain *
5. Lion-tailed macaque - Among the most recognisable of the Indian monkeys, highly endangered and an excellent representative of the tropical Western Ghats mountains
6. Sloth bear - Another recognisable Indian species, and probably one of the most desirable large Indian species missing from Planet Zoo
7. Yellow-throated marten - Excellent representation for the Indian Himalayas if I say so myself; colourful, active sociable and would add a new type of mustelid to the game
Walkthrough exhibit. Grey slender loris - A small and slow-moving nocturnal primate that has the benefits of being more sociable than slow lorises and also not having a venomous bite

* Neither of these ungulates are kept outside of the Indian Subcontinent any more, but I won't lie and say I would just really love to see both of them. They would add an interesting pair of species (the antelope would be the one four-horned species of bovid, and the chevrotain a really beautiful member of a group otherwise completely unrepresented in the game) that I think would look brilliant when housed together. Although they are no longer kept outside the Indian subcontinent, they are both pretty common in zoos within it - in 2018, a total of 206 chevrotains were kept in 7 Indian zoos, while with four-horned antelope a more modest 143 animals were kept in 14 zoos. I would personally say both have more than sufficient captive representation to be welcome.

Scenery Pack
1.
Chital - Perhaps the most commonly-kept of the Indian deer in zoos worldwide, which is colourful and has a lot of utility in mixed enclosures
2. Fishing cat - Among the most unique small cats missing from the game, this semi-aquatic feline is also pretty widespread in zoos worldwide
3. Indian star tortoise - Another widely-kept species, this threatened medium-sized tortoise would add an excellent smaller habitat reptile to the game
4. Northern Plains grey langur - Another well-known primate from India, suitable for walkthrough enclosures and also pretty adaptable in terms of biome
Exhibit. King cobra - Probably the most requested standard exhibit species in the game, and one of the most emblematic species from India missing in the game

I’ve always liked using the India theme and have had desire for Indian animals over SEA even if they are found in both.
1. Blackbuck: seems to be a perfect fit
2. Sloth bear: I want more bears
3. Golden Jackal: currently no jackals in game
4. Great Indian Bustard: the bird of the dc
5. Gray Langur: the monkey of the dlc, or ANY monkey
6. Indian leopard: the feline of the dlc
7. Asian palm civet: something different
8. King Cobra: wouldn’t feel right with out the fabled King Cobra. Fun fact, they aren’t even technically cobras but in their own grouping.

Here's the India-native species I would want that game to feature although rhino, elephant, tiger and gharial looked enough to me.
  1. Axis deer AKA chital
  2. Gaur
  3. Blackbuck
  4. Indian cobra
  5. King cobra
To me, if sloth bear will be there, so should the rest of all eight species bear.

An Indian (or South Asian) pack would be cool. Remove

1. Rhesus macaque
2. Gaur
3. Blackbuck
4. Dalmatian pelican / Great Indian bustard
5. Indian giant squirrel
6. Indian grey mongoose
7. Wild boar
8. Indian cobra

It seems all of us are in agreement that the blackbuck should find its way into the game. Along with the King cobra.
Noting a good amount of requests for sloth bears.
I will be happy with any Indian monkey as some of you have different requests in which monkey should make the cut.
Then there seems to be a divide among people who want hoofstock, birds, carnivores.
If there’s this kind of enthusiasm for these various Indian animals that I feel certain that frontier will highly consider an Indian animal dlc.

I’ll throw my hat in the ring:
  1. Gaur
  2. Blackbuck
  3. Himilayan monal
  4. Fishing Cat
  5. Demoiselle Crane
  6. Bar Headed Goose
  7. Lion tailed macaque
  8. Indian Cobra in exhibit

My perfect India Animal Pack would be

1. Blackbuck
2. Lion tailed Macaque or Grey langur
3. Sloth bear
4. Fishing cat
5. Ratel or Indian Mongoose or palm civet (in short, a small/medium sized carnivore)
6. Chital or Indian muntjac
7. Damoiselle crane
8. King cobra
