I’m confused do you mean add the anniversary animals as a unlockable reward for all players. I very much oppose this idea as I have no interest in playing franchise or any other mode but sandbox and certainly no desire or want to unlock animals as rewards. Jwe1 did this and imo this is where the franchise went wrong. I recently paid 120$ for a unrelated title in which I thought everything was unlocked hence the reason I bought it so I was definitely a little ticked off to find out I had to unlock several characters. If I would have known I would have never bought the game in the first place. I have no problem with players choosing their personal preference of having the ability to unlock certain animals but I certainly have no desire to do so myself. Like I said maybe it’s just a misunderstanding of the whole idea but if not no thanks for me.

No you don't understand me

I mean, the rewards for free in the wild animals, are ONLY base game animals in the community challenge, so ,I just saying that it will be cool and awesome if we could get also the anniversary animals when we free in the wild or breed certainly animals in the different community challenge BECAUSE in this moment only we receive DEFAULT BASE GAME animals

Now you understand?

Especially fully aquatics could warrant their own game if they'd like.

The truth is Frontier has a goldmine with no serious contender in the market. They could go with 4 more years of support like Cities Skylines, a game that still has new DLCs 8 years after its release.

True! There is no limit in themes in a game like this, we can have biomes, specific regions of the planet, a lifestyle, etc. Planco in some ways was more tied and limited for the engine. And yeah, games like cities skylines got a pretty strong community. And like you guys said: The game has no real competition, the only real competition is if microsoft will revive zoo tycoon seeing the great success of the board game.

Won’t be long till the invasive species section of Australian zoos will be bigger than the native species section - dromedary, European rabbit and another one and we’ll get there.

They could easily get another 6 packs content out of that, even if most of it would have to be animal packs since there's probably not too much scenery they would include - maybe a pack or two. That's still over 40 animals. While I'm completely neutral on a Planet Aquarium or having it in Planet Zoo, I do think it would bolster sales for Planet Zoo for at least a year if not more alone.

I think Extcint Animals type expansions were by far most popular.

How many animals do you need to release when to have all the outfits? and are there other rewards after that?

It would be great if there were in de (near) future other rewards than just animals (which you can buy)/outfits (which only you see for a second when you login)
