Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

You guys are lucky, were paying $5.60 a gallon here. I have a 2017 Ford diesel F-350 extra cab 4x4 setup for towing my 2017 32' 5th wheel that holds 110 gallons, almost $600.00 to fill it. I have a 1996 Peterbilt 389/Cat 425 regular cab that carries 300+ gallons, and a 4 rail Cozad single drop lowbed for it and another Ford F-350 diesel extra cab 4x4 pilot vehicle, my fuel bill can run in the 10's of thousands each month (not to mention private vehicles). Thank God for CFN.
Diesel here is running about the same at $5.10 per gallon.

Diesel is always a lot higher than regular gas. It's what killed the sale of diesels for all but heavy duty applications.

Surely you only have a limited amount of ammo - hence the increased ammo suit mods and the ammo cases lying around to replenish from. (I actually don't know how else to resupply ammo unless it happens when you board or resupply at ship or buggy.)
Like I said, I've completely misunderstood the working of the mod :D

So, ideally, what I need is a suit with extra ammo cap but even that has a finite capacity. When it said "stowed reloading" I thought it would reload indefinitely. Logic went right out the window by the looks :ROFLMAO:

How, exactly?

People keep on buying. There's nothing at all wrong with increasing a price if people will keep on paying it.

If you can't afford it, stop buying it.

It's very simple.

I'm a bit sick of seeing people complain about gas being $3.35 per gallon when they have no problem buying a gas guzzling V8 car/truck and blow 1,000 dollars on a new iPhone every single year.
I find myself near the other end of the spectrum. There are a shipload of things I had to stop buying because I could not afford them anymore. My cellphone is from around 2013... My car is a 2.2 liter four-banger from 2004. You get the drift.
Though, most of the time, I drive my father's diesel, as it has a slightly better fuel mileage and price...
That I am still driving a car is out of sheer necessity, as I live in a rural area with technically non-existant public transportation.

Diesel fuel is about 2€ per liter. 1 US gallon equals 3.785412 liters. You can do the math, I am too tired, right now.
Standard fuel is about 2.20 € / L...
I just worked out the gas price in the UK in my local town is equivalent to $6.23 per US gallon. Unsurprisingly V8s are extremely rare here. Generally we don't need to drive as many miles per year than many people in the US and the fuel grade is higher helping to lower consumption, so not quite as bad as it first seems.
That is correct. But those prices still hurt if you have to live from a small early-retirement pension...
My neighbor complains and complains and complains about the price of gas.

He drives a $75,000.00 6,000 pound Cadillac Escalade with a huge 6.2 liter V8 in it that has a 30 gallon gas tank on it and gets 15 miles per gallon.
Yeah. This type can be found here, too. Although it is less likely to meet one than it is in the US...
I noticed an increase in EVs in my neck of the woods, though.

I think things will get back to normal once this war is over. I'm semiretired, I gave the business to my two sons, I still have my bigrig but it sits mostly, when they need help they call me. I really was planning on going on a road trip back east and up to Canada and driving back Canadian Hy-way 1 but that's on hold because of fuel prices, so here I am.

I thought this was a cool shot of my Anaconda, another dusty moon.

Since I am a tyro as regards ground combat I just went on foot to check how ammo works otherwise. The ammo number is per weapon and it is resupplied on boarding SRV or ship or by selecting resupply in the boarding "area" of the ship or SRV. I just did this so that I know how it works (beyond ammo boxes at settlements) - you and everyone else probably are well aware of the situation.

Indeed.

I was just hoping - without thinking it through - stowed reloading would replenish the gun(s) when "holstered". It was my plan not to have to keep running to the ammo boxes during a CZ :D

And even with extra battery cap, I'm often revisiting the energy regen pole.

I think Elvira Martuuk left an ammo synthesizer in my space pants! Now that is some sufficiently advanced tech!

I have lots of time to explain how that would work, while I try to lose the heat. Those turkeys have killed two Apex drivers and corresponding rupee noons, for letting me aboard!

I have a strange problem, I arrived at a DSSA carrier and I can't disembark, I have a crapton of genomics and can't get in. Heres a list of what they got.

The menu, I logged out twice, once all the way to my desktop, I can't believe this, I skipped two other carriers because they didn't have Vista Genomics.
