Sorry, but specifically, what does that actually mean?

Sudden and inexplicable changes in minor faction influence, systems governments not flipping when expected, and general 'background simulation' misbehaviour which is really scr**ing with Powerplay at the moment.

Hey, I play on xbox one. I love the game and the mission's could be improved. Realy dont care about the updae patching of fsd to other systems n flying into the sun "if ur not payin attention" or going somewhere. I dont mine, I just keep my faction points at 1600 and playing in conflict zones. I basically used every ship in CZ's cause I get board very quick. Even played two other games and come back to ED, in a day I make everything back. Like to have more big ships and cooler ones. I have owned bout 4 condas and 6 trillion credits weopon configurations to make it more fun to keep me awake.

Thx for the work FD

Be great to get a comment about the system jumps taking so long. Game is broken for me.

Not sure if you have tried the
Temp fix of creating a private group then adding yourself as the only member. This fix worked liked a treat for me and brought every single jump back down to 12-14 seconds.
:)

P.S. I would love to see that REPAIR ALL 10CR removed (unless it is genuinely needed), it's very annoying.

I think we all want that. It looks like a bug, feels like a bug, behaves like a bug. They can call it "intended feature" all they want, it is still a bug. And it is right in your face. Every new player will see this embarrassing programming failure right after firing up the game, think that damage needs to be repaired, then click it, then click it again, then notice it doesn't disappear, then think it must be a bug (and rightfully so). Shameful.

Here's a question for the devs, and maybe management: is there a crunch culture at FD? It would be nice to know that my game is made for me by happy, rested, organic free range developers who go home to their families at 6pm most days, secure in the knowledge that if a feature doesn't make the cut in time, it can come out in the next major update instead.

Selling a game with these "organic produce" credentials could resonate with many consumers, not just the ones with significant others of their own.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing almost.... except load up on B12 Methylcobalomine (not cyano) ... helps stay awake, well rested, focused... better version of same stuff in energy drinks...

The thrusters work fine after you've been released. You just have to wait before hitting the key. It's not hard.

Maybe so but it wasn't there in 1.3.. I thought it was my Saitek stick crapping out again for the hundredth time. Yay, that saves me a trip to the shops until at least next week.. :D

What no fix for
10CR bug

I LIKE that! I hope it stays.
Station Engineers will "Check The Oil" for you, 10cr every time and as many times as you like .. +1
I hope it's here for good personally .. scratch one bug off to do list?

Talking of patches; recent Windows 8.1 Critical Updates have been crashing my laptop, have had to System Restore several times on it. Therefore downloading free upgrade, to Windows 10 right now, should I be scared? (Because I am)

I'm just guessing
But it could be implemented to prevent accidental throttle/input causing unexpected takeoff? I mean the only disadvantage is you have to wait for release before applying thrusters?

You mean you'd like the game to ensure that your landing gear is damaged when you apply vertical thrust and your gear is still locked onto the station? Seems perfectly reasonable to me that the ship's computer will not activate vert thrusters until the ship is released.

hell yes, I would personally like all the collision damage back from poor docking as well... Beta had fantastic docking mechanics before tractor beams steadied us in the letter box, and gripped our ship when close to the pad, and collision with the station meant near certain destruction, like in the 1984 game. ;)

I would also like some stations to not to support rotational correction computers (I am assuming rotational correction uses some form of communication with the station here - which iirc way back when this was actually stated as being a "thing", or the ability to network into docking computers at all places

Improvements to interdictions - would be good to have details.... been difficult since 1.4 - speaking as I am 600 merits short of Rank 5 today, I hope I will be pleased! :)

Any chance of a fix to the galaxy map trade route finder so it actually works? Its been almost a year which is pretty poor for a space trading game.

Looking for to new stuff and hope fully a balance to the long range missions.

So long as you do not play in VR you will be fine in windows 10. its a good OS and I am looking forward to getting on my gamign rig
(of course if there is an underlying problem which caused your PC to suddenly fail......................... )

I found that when I upgraded the thrusters in my ship ... I magically evaded interdictions ... even if I was trying to submit to the interdiction!
