Patch Notes Update 1.4.01 update

Simple fixes that are not here. Why?
1. Mission Target - black font
2. Anaconda Hud vertically offset/- was ok but was damaged in 1.4
3. FAS cameras on medium wpn swapped
4. Utility mount cameras on FAS swapped.
5. Medium FAS hardpoints cannons, multicannons and other weapons not firing properly.
6. Anaconda huge hardpoint - rails not firing, beam fixed not firing
7. 10cr repair - still there!
8. Ship integrity repair repairs PAINTJOB.
9. Most important - SMAA Anti Aliasing STILL not working. We warned about this since first 1.4 beta. NOTHING.

What is going on? Even the simple black mission target is not in the update? I hope it is just not mentioned...

10CR bug
No contacts in range left panel bug
Corruption in transactions screen left panel
Anaconda HUD bug
Thrusters at launch bug
Crazy spinning NPC's
NPC's ramming again just like pre 1.3
and many many more

It's a fair point. Just remember that during the stress test we did run 41 events in 2 weeks and some of those were specifically focused on the BGS and different elements of it. I understand there are frustrations that come with these issues but the team are aware and working on it. Ultimately, we're all on the same team.

Stick with us and we'll have an update for you soon. :)
It's good to know that the BGS issues are still being looked into, I'd prefer a fix that you guys are confident in than a speculative one. One thing that I was curious about, but couldn't find an answer on the forums is: did the Mayhem event to flip Eranin actually work?
 
Will the framerate problem in supercruise (AMD) be looked into further? It's quite bad :(
Or is this AMD's problem to fix?

10. Game forgets user input in some situations: a) undocking, thrusting up before release won't make you thrust up when you are free, b) instance transitions (SC, hyperspace - I have reported this like the first or second day of 1.4 beta...).

Don't worry, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you! Here is the patch notes for tomorrow's update. The update is due to go live from approximately 10:30am BST and will last for roughly an hour and half.

Not sure if the bug is related but I am seeing framerate issues in SC too with a GTX980 as is everyone playing in VR. I suspect everyone gets it TBH it is just more noticable in VR as it is far more sensitive to dropped frames

I just got the in-game server message ... Nooooo! I iz going to barbados ... no wait, Sag A* ... I am trying to get to the Greae Phio nebula today, I need teh servers up!!!! ... ah well ... I'll have to find something else to do :p
 
I really hope some of the simple bugs have been fixed but not listed. If not I will be really unimpressed. I can understand the focus being on 1.5/2.0 but why not squish the bugs we have now.

Nope, for me SC is the smoothest part of the game. Old AMD card.
 
Seriously, I really hope there are some unmentioned fixes as well. There have been 806 Bugreports (including a couple duplicates) and the patch has literally only 6 fixes listed. I mean really now? After all that time? It's fine focusing on future updates, but only once the base game is nearly bug free, which doesn't even remotely apply to 1.4 in the slightest. If it turns out to really be only those hand full of fixes, I'm (once again...) severely disappointed in FD.
 
Are we going to get closure on the set of exploration bugs? The last we heard was several days ago when Zac said the f'final' fix was due shortly. Has it finally been fixed?

thank you so much, yesterday I took 3 21k credits fines in a system for 1 mission of 60k... ;)
