1 Expansion for All Ship Interiors or DLC per Ship?

The devs are considering to add walking in ships post-launch of Odyssey. New gameplay mechanics are required such as for zero-g and ship boarding. There are 2 viable options:
  1. A big expansion that includes all ship interiors. This would be 1 or 2 years after Odyssey.
  2. Separate interior DLC per ship.
Which one do you prefer?

As a LEPer, I should be sorted ;) but probably separate DLC per ship if I had to pick.

Now this, I like this idea because it would be optional, apart from the core addition of space legs, and update planetary surfaces. I have resigned myself to having to walk around planets for the exo-biology rank, but going the way of optional DLC in this way, that would mean I would not have to worry about ship based changes like having to walk around to do repairs, not have to participate in other players trying to board my ship, or any of that stuff.

An interiors DLC is getting into what I understand to be EVE territory. Truly, unless they are part of a bigger expansion like this that has thought out how the interiors can add to gameplay, there is no point. This is coming from someone who has always wanted "space legs". New DLC is planet legs, which is fine, just not what I wanted.

As long it's in VR I don't care. ;)

Agreed. However, if those were to come in separate DLCs, the price should be adequate. There are 37 ships in the game, after all.

Oh, and without anything to do with it, I'd pass. There've been so many great ideas bandied about on the forums... FDev should have tons of ideas.

The wait for 1 could be annoying, but 36 or so separate DLCs could take about as long and be more annoying if only for that many chances of a glitch or bug happening.

So I vote for option 1 especially as if it went to option 2 it would inevitably mean some of my ships would be at the end of the queue.

Adding an interior with zero game play would be a waste of time and adding interior game play limited to just one ship initially would be nuts.

So all in one go. Because it'd need to be an expansion of the game (that is the game, not its window dressing).

Knowing , you will have to buy each ship's interior with ARX.

3.Dont buy it play something else

Even the fact that they're "considering" it is laughable in itself.
It should've been present in Odyssey imho, it's one of the most requested features and been a hot item since Braben mentioned it during kickstarter.

They're "considering" it,.....ugh.

As for the OP's question, the quickest option as free expansion to Odyssey since it should've been there from the get go.
Just my opinion.
