100% Legit 30MCr/h No exploit/cheat/flip

Here it is folks, the latest legitimate money making scheme!

Having finally received the invite to Qwent after the latest patch, I went to my home/garage station to change ships in order to be better equipped to procure some modular terminals. I noticed a couple of well paying data delivery mission to the same well known destination. I put Qwent on hold and took them, and then thought I might make it more lucrative if I could find some more, so I set off to other stations in my home system in the hope of finding more. After visiting 8-10 station boards I had a full complement to 20 missions to the same destination.

Total payout 60MCr. One Jump of 4.4Ly. Easy Money:D

Elite missions i assume, or was it something a newbie can do?

i am very concerned about the new guys atm, they got a hard time catching up. seems they mostly are getting crappy missions to colonia.

Do i miss something? Or is all you say "I was in 'some' system with good missions that paid well?" (and very probably you have a very good standing, since you call it home). Thats not very new, kaleu! :) (I really dont care about the details, i have my systems where i get good missions if i need some credits. I just wonder if this is some sort of trolling). :p

Guys, he's talking about data delivery missions to Hutton Orbital, which pay in the millions because, despite being "4.4 ly" travel distance (from Sol or thereabouts), you still have that horrendous 1+ hour journey in supercruise.

OP is being facetious - thread title said 30 million per hour but total payout was stated as 60 million - I imagine because it took a couple of hours in total to stack missions and travel.

OP, am I right?

Wait, what can you possibly mean, that just playing the game like normal without jumping in the nearest "Get Rich Quick, ers!" bandwagon can be just as lucrative and profitable, if not more???

That would just be inconcievable!

Also, yes, if anyone does not know, Sol and Alpha Centauri are 4.38 (4.4 rounded up) LY away from each other. The OP is based in Sol, and he is a troll. :p (But for getting a full stack of missions without relogging, he is correct: find a system with lots of stations and Federal factions, and you're set. No gimmicks required, and no trips to Reddit hotspots necessary.)

Visiting 8-10 station boards you mean flying to 8-10 stations? Or SwiftRelog(TM)?
If SwiftRelog(TM), then its expoit.

Why do you think new players should be able to catch up with veteran ones??
One of the features of the Elite genre has always been the idea of a slow and difficult start, getting easier as you play. Jumping straight to the easy part misses the point.

He did say it did not involve flipping the boards, which is what relogging is.

You aren't going to ever 'catch up', logically.

But yeah: Those lucky early adopters who had to consider fuel costs, no engineered FSDs, had missions rank locked and were lucky to get 25k for a mission.... spoiled.

Well done CMDR Das Boot
Get the Faction Reputation controlling that system up to allied with you. also the others up to friendly to get better paying missions and
the protection of the security services of systems that you are doing mission in.

Having a decent ship when NPCs pirates show up in a wing of 3 and try and get you to hand over goods can pay out a lot if one or 2 of them
are in anacondas or other big ships. If you are friendly to the ruling power in that system try and stay out of the way till the security shows
up and they can help you. 150K-250K for the big ships if you get the claim for the kill.

Some missions do warn you that this will happen so can make extra money on running missions of this kind.

anyway. now to find the theme tune for Das Boot as It will make a nice tune to play when my anaconda launches

The new guys generally speaking have it easier than ever. Every new 'generation' has it easier than the previous ones in Elite.

*OFC* you're right, logical process of elimination once you think about the facts and have a little prior knowledge of the core worlds... so the payouts are correct, but you need to factor in the cost of Ship Integrity repair for ~90 mins of SC (which ofc is higher the bigger the ship), although not really a deal-breaker.
Basically if you have a new album to listen to, or an ep. of a favourite show to catch up on, spend half an hour skipping around Sol to load up on these data deliveries (as long as you're already Allied with the controlling factions), zip over to Alpha, set course for Hutton and get listening/watching... as long as you keep a weather eye on your screen!

Edit: No Nerfs Needed (say it five times really quickly! Now try that drunk! :p), each mission is paying out the right amount for the distance travelled/time elapsed/repairs required afterwards, just by stacking 20 you can get *up to* 60m cr for 2 hours invested, but there are prerequisites that need to be fulfilled i.e. allied status with all the factions, and a permit to access them in the first place!

Exploit? Nah. Doing the reputation grind is what I'd call that.

But if it's about data delivery missions, at them moment a fast and not too boring way is station hopping at the pleadis sectors - 3 or 4 systems within 15Lys allways full of Data Missions so you dont even need to board hop.

Because i don't want them to quit ??
and it is not about having a easy start. i just want them to have a chance to get to the same content as veteran players. but as it is now they seem to have trouble even getting their solar permits.

This^^. I've only been playing since early July (IKR, 'dirty console gamer' lol!), but I'm fortunate that I've been able to play a minimum of 10-12 hours/day, *every* day since then, and when I wasn't playing or doing RL stuff (*that's* the REAL grind!) I've been lurking on the Forums, soaking up the tips, lore and information (but thankfully, very little sodium!). So my progression has been faster than most, but only because I *have* put the hours in. Not really 'grinding', and *definitely* no exploits, it would have felt like cheating myself!

I can now afford to buy and outfit one of 'The Big Three'... but I'm not sure I want to yet, because I realise *I STILL HAVE SO MUCH TO DO AND EXPERIENCE IN-GAME*! I'm nowhere *near* what I would consider 'Veteran' even with ~240 hours played since 26/9 (when 2.4 dropped, only since when have PS4 players had their playtime recorded). I've been trying to pass on what I've learned to other PS4 players, *especially* the mindset of not rushing through this experience but, sadly, some people will always want to read the end of the story first... but then, I realise a lot of you guys have been here for 3+ years and there are *still* things you haven't done in all that time that you're only now getting around to! And this story doesn't actually *have* an end....

TLDR: noobs should relish and enjoy the feeling of being a noob, the discoveries, the sense of wonder, the satisfaction and realisation when something 'clicks' into place, because that feeling will only come around *once* and then it's gone forever, even if you reset your save....

Edit: I'm feeling quite emotional now, think I'd better have a lie down lol! [smile] Oh, and +repped!
