i understand your opinion. i don't wanted to force my opinion, but i just wanted to see other player's analysis-factor. but there were no factors to support on your opinion. i think you just want that carrier's cost will be cheap.
contents structure of every game have a 'challenge - reward' and reward must be reasonably rare and unique. becaue of easily accessing to mining knowhow, nobody think that '1.5B = 6h playing time' is challenge. most of all, if many player can buy carrier right after announcing carrier, that means several years of FD's effort can consume at short moment. no game company want that situation. they want to player to play longtime between "funny and hardship".
i know you will talk about 'cost is not important but how to use is important' and i totaly agree that. i just want know your analysis-factor not your desire.
i'm sorry for offensive.
No offense taken. This is a theoretical discussion after all and opinions will vary.
The factor I used to support my opinion is how FD have released content and updates for the past 5 years. Whenever FD have introduced a 'difficult' challenge like the engineers when they first came out the backlash forced them to make the process easier and quicker.
The same is true of the Guardian sites, these were very time consuming and eventually were dialed back to make them more accessible.
Many on here are also assuming that every player goes core mining (or is willing to go core mining) for Void Opals and has billions in cash, I really do not think that is the case.
Nothing in they way they have released their content leads me to believe they want to restrict access to their content. I'm not wishing for anything, I have enough credits and right now I'm not overly bothered about owning an FC as I want to see more about them, their function, mechanics uses before I make my decision.
Your method of working this out is by taking a cutter and then multiplying it's value to match the FC based on size. That is incredibly simplistic and I do not believe for one second that is how FD will work out the cost. It is far more likely that FD will look at the average player wealth and work out the cost based on that.
Again no offense, just a different opinion.
