Hey Michael, I don't know if you guys are still taking submissions, but if you are, I think I've got some more good tourist spots for you
All I have are System Map screenshots for the last two, but I suppose I could mosey over and take in-system screenshots of them if you really need me to, if that's required to submit them.
Anyways, hope that's not a problem
Oh, and Virgil Kyle is my in-game commander's name, too. Looking forward to 2.2 - Here are my new submissions!
'Sol's True North Star’ - WREGOE TV-L C24-0:
This tiny system, which lies far 'north' of the human-inhabited galactic 'bubble', would be of little note to anyone (save the odd wildcatting space miner) were it not for its remarkable location. WREGOE TV-L C24-0 lies over 1,200 light-years due 'north' of Sol's vertical position in the galactic plane, yet less than a light-year from Sol's position otherwise. It is these unique coordinates that led its discoverer to call the tiny M-class dwarf 'Sol's True North Star,' as Polaris is located directly north of Sol only when viewed from Earth's northern pole. Visitors to this system are guaranteed a spectacular view of the Milky Way Galaxy, a view only made more poignant by the system's special connection with Humanity's birthplace.
PLEASE NOTE: The Frame Shift Drive jump ranges needed to reach this system are near the upper limit of what is currently achievable, so be sure that your ship can make the trip before booking passengers!
*Not sure if you guys want to include that last bit with the rest of the description, but it IS important information pilots should know before booking passengers, so I'd suggest including it! Anyway, here's the screenie
'Hottest Terraformed World' - OSIRA A 3:
Located on the outskirts of the human-inhabited galactic 'bubble', the Osira system is most notable for hosting the hottest terraformed planet in human space. Osira A 3, which lies far closer to its hot, A-class parent star than many observers feel is prudent for human habitation, also has a co-orbiting neighbor which was once slated for terraforming as well. The company responsible for terraforming the third planet allegedly sold investors on the project by claiming the planet would purposely be kept dry and arid, using the now-infamous tagline 'It's not the heat, it's the humidity!' Records show the terraforming company went bankrupt shortly after the planet's colonization. Osira A 3's climate has been charitably described by non-residents as an 'acquired taste', and plans to terraform its sister world are said to be on an indefinite hold.
'Hottest Gas Giant With Water-Based Life' - COL 359 SECTOR AF-Y D1-26 B 2:
This quiet uninhabited system close to the human-inhabited galactic 'bubble' has orbiting around its second star a natural wonder certain to be of interest to both curious sightseers and scientists alike: The hottest gas giant in the galaxy known to possess water-based life. Visitors to the system are also advised to take note of its co-orbiting neighbor, as COL 359 SECTOR AF-Y D1-26 B 3 also happens to be inhabited with life, albeit of the ammonia-based variety. This fact is made far more unusual by the fact that ammonia-based life usually thrives in colder environments than water-based life does. The system also possesses a terrestrial water world inhabited with primitive carbon-water-based life.
EDIT: Forgot to post my references! Those last two are indeed the hottest of their respective planet types, as recorded by Universal Cartographics' record book:

And here's the news story I posted about a year and a half ago about 'Sol's True North Star':
