- iCourier VR(?) pilot seat lighting fixed
- iCourier VR(?) rear (default) camera fixed
- hangar door animation fixed

Nothing dealbreaking, but three little things that have been nagging me for quite some time now. Thank you!

iCourier bobblehead preview camera position fixed by any chance?

I like the little touch of a % counter when taking hi-res pictures and stopping the whole screen spinning round :D
 
Ps4 Hud color options

Everything I'm looking for is in this game, absolutely sublime. But being able to change the "color" of the Hud on the Ps4 version would make it a whole lot better on the eyes & some of us need this option to play longer than a couple hours at a time. If you all could make that an option in the graphics menu, myself along with everyone I've played with will be very happy campers as all have been looking forward to change. Again, great job guys/gals on the game we've all been waiting for. 😱
 
Now I keep getting

Update failed for file "[...]\Products\elite-dangerous-64\Win64\06\6a06f0fd8c08f03e7ac322fe3853156fd39860a5" (validation error)

Deleting this file doesn't help either? Why would it keep failing validation when it's downloaded again?
 
Does anyone else have 'Connection Status:' at the bottom left of their screen? A little annoying. Been there ever since this update
 
Constant adjudication server errors. Neverending loading screens. Unable to get an up to date list of missions. Rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the great experience once again.

First attempt to jump: CONNECTION ERROR. Try to log back on from menu twice: CONNECTION ERROR. Restart from Launcher, try to log on: CONNECTION ERROR. This from working perfectly yesterday.

That could any of a myriad of faults. The servers generally need to scale up with demand under load. Could also be your latency to AWS, FD's provider of cloud services.

Going to check it when loaded

Got back into the game after 10 minutes. Spawned me 47,000Ls from the Neutron Star I was trying to jump to and planned to FSD supercharge from. Also have a message notification light with no unread messages.

I am sorry for those of you having connection errors, some of the people in my friends list are too, but the majority are not. The team are still working away and hopefully they can settle them down for you all.

Did we have landable planets in 2.3 with some form of haze? Or is this new in 2.4? Currently I'm sitting in a crater of 19 PI CANIS MAJORIS B1 and see a faintly violet haze over the whole scenery. It's an otherwise beige giant high-g ice planet with bluish craters as seen from the orbit. Otherwise the planet is quite boring, but I can't recall something similar in 2.3

I think some planets have always had them. I remember I took a picture of the canyons on Ariel around 2.1 and that has a layer of mist/fog over them. There was certainly some over the Thargoid bases in 2.3 too.

  • New and improved salvage scenarios added to support search and rescue gameplay

  • Players that have you on their sensors are now informed when you enable or disable "Report Crimes Against Me". Additionally, enabling crime reports now has a 15 second delay before actually becoming active (there is currently no delay when disabling crime reports)



  • Corrected the colour of the Metals trade routes shown on the map to match the colour shown in the legend bar


  • Add distance from starsystem entry to mission destinations
  • Ship kills, and actions to complete planetary hack and disable missions will now only contribute to a single mission, this will be the earliest mission accepted
  • Refactored mission selection to promote a wider selection of missions on a single board.
  • Refactored mission selection to promote a better spread of missions across factions
  • Refactored mission selection to heavily promote selection of conflict missions for both sides involved
  • Refactored mission selection to more reliably generate permit, engineer, and rank missions at eligible stations.
  • Slightly rebalanced micro resource reward selection probabilities
  • Added an inbox message when passengers alight from the ship
  • Follow-on missions can include more data about previous missions in the chain
  • Added support for missions allocating additional rewards based on station distance from the jump-in point
  • Optimisations to how system data caching for secondary sites is stored and requested
  • Fixed passengers on tourism missions not realising the player hadn't gone to the right beacon when on multiple-site trips
  • Increased the chance of in-space chain missions spawning
  • For ship kill missions, the mission giver is considered when deciding if a kill should count. This allows for some mission stacking, but only when missions are from different factions
  • Multiple Planetary Scan missions will no longer complete after a single scan



  • Fixed an issue whereby forgetful Military NPCs could sometimes have left their weapons at home
  • Trigger-happy NPCs will now only shoot missiles once the target's shields have dropped
  • Fixed the falling skimmer issue that could occur on planet surfaces
  • Fix for capital ship movement issues

Very nice!

Is it just me or are there more and bigger NPC guards around high security systems?! Stations looks definitly improved. First impression: Rock solid. Thx Frontier.

Too much disconnections ...

Download the update is ok, but too much disconnction for me... i'll try later (22:26 for me i'm too tired :p
