200 slots is not enough storage space (why am I wasting my money?)

I'm going to keep putting this everywhere until it A) happens or B) is told it's in future /approaching plans

what I really want is more storage space, at the current rate the game (at least for me) is becoming near unplayable with 10+ zoos all with a range of different animals my storage space is not sufficient
why am i paying all this money for all these different animals if i can't breed any of them??

I'm trying to make one breeding zoo for every animal and require like, three to four separate habitats to ensure no inbreeding (and I just found out capuchins can have like 30+ individuals, and don't get me started on the birth rate of Bengal Tigers.) I'm thinking they should keep the universal storage at 200 (allowing for animals to be traded between the individual users franchise zoos) and another, much larger, trading storage unique to every zoo that could be dependent on certain building that you have (like the trade center or a new "storage center") that way for people who don't want to utilize the storage area don't have to (that was one of the complains i kept seeing was that it wasn't "realistic enough in a strategic management game" to have an excess amount of storage while another side was say they "loved to breed the animals and needed more room (just like me) to make the perfect one").
note: that animals would have to be moved to the "universal storage" area to be accessed for use in other zoos.
as well as there being a set in game price for animals (like setting a limit that a particular animal is able to be sold for, no-one's going to be out here spending 100k on a zebra and, let's be honest, the prices in game are getting ridiculous) maybe having it based on ability to breed in captivity or endangered status, as well as gene rating.
I also like the idea of having different tabs to sort out animals for trade, currently I just rename all the animals that are going as "BYE" so it would be helpful to move them between tabs or having different storage building for different uses (like ones for animals kept for breeding and another dedicated to animals for trade)

i worry for the future life of Planet Zoo because what's the point of having over 100 different animals with diverse social group sizes if my storage barely supports a population of Columbian capuchin?

why am i wasting my money on something that i can't use fronter??

hobbles with walking stick I remember the days of only 50 slots, and being overjoyed at having all that excess space when they changed it to 200 slots. Looks at storage now yep, 3 spaces left. I rarely go under 150 slots in use and those excess spots do get used up quickly when playing in one of my alphabet zoos with a harem species and needing to keep all the females and trading out the males ( which also takes up space while waiting for sales to happen ). Unfortunately, the game wasn't designed to be a permanent storage system. Their hints that appear say as much with the comment ( based on memory ) 'Prepare for your babies to grow up and going into a new habitat or being traded out. At no point does it mention to be stored forever rofl. Which is understandable. Every animal stored is taking up some element of data on their servers. The more that is stored, the more space it takes up. It might seem minimal at first glance but multiply that by the number of players then they numbers start hitting big numbers. Then double that for the backup they will likely have in case of problems.

I did make a similar suggestion a while back that utilised the trading center as ... an expansion to the trading system. Will hook out a link to it. ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threa...rent-or-future-versions-of-planet-zoo.628481/ ) But due to the way that the trading system works, the trade center building would have to be adjusted to suit.

At present the trading system has a single storage shared by all your franchise zoos and every zoo's trade center has access to that trading storage.
It doesn't matter how many you add to a zoo it is just an access point to the storage. If you open up an animal in your zoo that is in storage you can't see the details. You have to go to the trading storage list to see what the details are.

Actually rethinking my original idea has given me another idea .. off to the suggestion pages to add this to my list.
