PvP 2v1 in Deciat with commentary

I just gonna drop in an notify you that using a fighter is considered very bad manners in PvP.
Why you ask? Not because it's a game mechanic that's annoying to people, no.
It's because launching a fighter causes significant lag for all players in the instance, except yourself. You will be rubberbanding for others, making it almost impossible to be hit in some rare occasions.

Here is some video showing how fighter lag affects your opponents:

I'm well below average in PvP, but I like being ganked. It's a whole new level to the game. I mostly die, but my goal then is to deal as many decent blows that I can before blowing up.

With regards to torpedos, missiles, Reversky (I just love it), ramming, dumping biowaste, and other dirty tricks: I didn't interdict anyone, but at least I don't report crimes against me. Now let's get it on, so I can learn how to get better.

Nice one! (y) But yeah... better to avoid the use of SLFs in PvP due to the lag introduced by NPC's order feed.

I understand your perspective, I really do.
But you need to know that I am primarily a solo ganker, but every now and again find myself in organic PvP.

Literally right before I alt tabbed to the forums I was in a organic PvP fight with one of these tactics used against me. Which by the way is not unique, it happens several times a day...
- Premium ammo
- Shield ghosting
- SLF
- Torpedos
- 1v8
- FSD disrupters
- Even tracking my location through bogus friend requests 😞 (they don't really want to be my friends)

Especially since I'm a ganker:
- Task killing
- Exiting to menu

So not to shut you down as I completely understand the need for rules in duels or arranged fights, but in my years of daily PvP in Elite... I have never been in a duel or arranged fight. I don't want to either, it's not the PvP I look for it. I want it to be unfair, my entire playstyle is catching people with their pants down and kicking them 😜

However it's not up to player ethics to fix problems created by developers. Developers need to fix their own problems rather than the community inventing a code of honor.
I even just made a video on shield ghosting, but apparently people took it as a complaint and reminded me that anything and everything goes in Open.
Which I'm all for to begin with, but that doesn't mean I find them healthy for the longevity of the game.

Is it really fair to ask a ganker to play fair or for a ganker to expect others to play fair?

Seems to be a fair amount of Corvette PvP going on in this thread. I thought the Corvette was more PvE, and not particularly well suited to PvP?

Corvette is better at PvE than it is at PvP. That doesn't mean you can't use it. It still has a C8 distro, a somewhat good shield and an okay amount of DPS. It also is the most manouverable, which is its main strength for its size.
However, thanks to its utter slowness even though it's super manouverable, it will be outrun most of the time or you will be late for the wingfight.
Hence the Cutter is the preferred no brainer ship as it just outtanks the whole instance and is fast neough to stick with the fight.

@OP: I just gonna say no matter how much cheese your opponent(s) use, no excuse to use it yourself.
