Fast Start for testing....

My imported data was too old to make any testing worthwhile. Lots of credits earned and engineers unlocked in the last few weeks. It seems to me that the 100,000,000 you get with the fast start isn't enough to really kit anything out to do testing with (simulating a current 2.4 setup). It looks like all of the ships/modules are at normal prices at the beta start station.

Are there any stations (other than the obvious Li controlled) that offer major discounts for the beta???

Also, are we expected to grind out the engineers again to test the engineering on a new account? Seems like a LOT of hours that could be put into 2.4 to actually advance my commander instead of spent testing on an account that will be wiped out on release. Only one fully unlocked on a fast start account is the dweller.

It seems that the dweller can upgrade all things... haven't tested anything yet as a new fast start cmdr doesn't have any mats to upgrade with... So... we at least have to do the mat grind?

Still haven't found anything on being able to test bigger builds with a new cmdr (not enough credits).

Lots of things that I truly like about the update. It even appears that they raised the seats in the Cutter. Which is a major Quality of life improvement for me.

The audio galnet is awesome, I love it.

The ships should be 10% of cost...just like all betas...be sure you are in the right system and station....LHS 3447...not sure which station...

So - how do you gain rep with Engineers? I have grade 5 rep yet can't seem to get off grade 1 mods.....

Firstly, I like to read the Patch Notes because they sometimes remind me of how much work and detail goes into the this epic space sim and also I often learn about 'things' that I wouldn't have known I could do in game.

Secondly, this would be very useful [up]

Also, will the possibility of a "default" slider be added for limpet drones in your cargo hold, so you can slide the slider (Sliders...) to a preferred value, so when you hit "restock all" it automatically refills to this capacity?

Actually found this error file "BindingLoadingErrors" in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings and I see backups there too

Now that is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Still have to do the mat grind to test out the new engineering, but at least with the cap going to per item, it's a lot easier to manage. Only downside I can think of is that if there is a synth you use more often, you're always limited by highest needed number of any material before you're out prospecting again.
