So they are. No idea how I missed them when I was looking at the list in-game while making my list. I chalk it up to tiredness.
giant anteater too and theres nothing like an "asiatic cheetah" as well
Again, not sure how I missed that. Will amend shortly. But you are wrong about about Asiatic Cheetah. It's usually considered a subspecies of Cheetah (Acionyx jubatus venaticus), but it was native to the Levant, Turkey, Afghanistan, Middle East, Iran and India. it's been wiped out of most of it's range, only surviving in Iran today. Unlike the Asiatic Lion it has different enough behavior and morphology to remain classified as a subspecies in the last few years.

Stellar choices, Ounze :D

just as "lively"...
You might want it to be a habitat animal, I'd respect that, but that last part couldn't be further from the truth. They are more lethargic than almost every exhibit animal we have in the game currently. In the institution I was working, we have had alligator snappers that didn't move once all day. It would be as off as having something like a mechatronic rat as an exhibit animal, if we had alligator snapping turtles constantly moving as habitat animals.

I admit I'm not super experienced, but every zoo I've been to that features beavers, the beavers were asleep in their burrow... and from what I've read, that seems to be normal behavior for them... so from what I can tell, my statement is fairly accurate.

Furthermore, crocodilians are far more lethargic in real life than they are in Planet Zoo, so complaining about lethargic animals constantly moving is kinda silly...

True, they can be quite lethargic, but for mammalian standards. Sleeping a lot and "idling" are not exactly the same concepts. They are still more active than any reptile we have in the game. It is simply the difference between the behavior of endotherms and ectotherms. I hope we get beavers at some point too, and they can be coded to be more willing to sleep than most other habitat mammals. :)

As long as they build dams, lodges, or burrows, I'll be happy.
oh im sorry then, i knew their ranged spreaded there but didnt knew that they were considerd an own subspecies
I don't blame you for not knowing. Keeping track of stuff can be hard. I just found out today that they rolled the Asiatic Lion into the West African subspecies. Plus there are all sorts of goodies that you won't find except by accident or knowing what to look for. Like, For example, just five thousand years ago, jaguars ranged up into the U.S state of Washington, on the U.S-Canada border. The famous explorer, Sebastian Cabot saw Jaguars in what is now the U.S states of Pennsylvania and Ohio, back in 1544.

Intriguing word choice. I was half tempted to put Stellar Sea Lions, and Stellar Sea Eagles on the list. My local zoo had stellar sea lion for a long time, until the things died at the ripe old ages of 26 and 28. Still sad that they didn't get more to replace them, instead harbor seals moved into the exhibit.
But if we only get one extinct animal, it needs to be Stellar Sea Cow.

Yeah no I wrote that because it's actually Steller sea lion :D
Stellar choice nonetheless!

Whoops, I forgot then. I'm on day two of staying awake to rush everything because I got burned out, and now I have so much school work left. I need to stop doing stuff while tired.

Which is why I included crocodilians in my argument from the beginning to clarify even they are borderline ok. Alligator snapping turtles are living statues so they are different story altogether :)
To be honest, I don't think alligator snapping turtles would make a good habitat animal. Even the crocodiles move too much in the game as of now. The one animal that wouldn't make sense moving around all the time is the alligator snapping turtle. They would be perfect as a large exhibit animal if we do get an exhibit overhaul.
