42 dinosaurs confirmed in JWE!

You clearly never read the Creative Director Michael Brookes Interview
A quote:
"Potentially, there’s post-release content or updates?
Michael Brookes: I cannot comment on that at the moment, I’m afraid. But yes, we’ve got the Fallen Kingdom release in mind, so those things to tie-in with that."

Now tell me, do you really think they are going to let a opportunity for a fully filled Fallen Kingdom dlc slide, and only give us a Indoraptor?

A vague statement that doesnt imply that it might release alot of content. Aka a multitude of dinosaurs. I keep my expectations low and i expect only the Indoraptor. You and the others are very much welcome to either get what you want or have hyped yourself up so much that you get dissapointed and will complain.

I'm already very happy with the 42 dinosaurs and what this game will offer.
Anything more is a delightful bonus.
They stated that they will support this game after launch and that's all I needed to know, because I know what to expect from Frontier when I look at what they do with Planet Coaster.

I like how, as the list of confirmed dinosaurs gets larger, people who were complaining about too few dinosaurs slowly switching to complaining about their favourite dinosaurs not being in the list.

It looks like Fdev will have to add at least another 2-3k dinosaur species to make everyone happy. Yay.

That's how it always has been for months now. Everyone wants their favorite obscure Dinosaur in the game and when they find out its not in the game they whine.

I personally think the FK release will be a free and paid pack.

Indoraptor will be free (think universal will insist on that) and the others will be a paid dlc pack.

I know I asked for some obscure dinosaurs in the wishlist thread but I only listed what I wanted because I wanted to get as many unique dinosaurs in the game. Now I also know you may not have been talking about me in particular but I figured I would at least explain my wishlist of dinosaurs that I mentioned in the wishlist thread. But then again I asked for them as DLC options. I'm being realistic with this game's release. Sure I may not be speaking for everyone when it comes to their list of obscure dinosaurs but I would think there would be others who are doing the same. I'm not going to complain if they don't make the game either DLC or not. And if anyone does complain about that then I think they had too high of an expectation for the game.

There is still a month to go. So dinos like Carcharodontosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus could still make the cut. Fingers crossed. There is 2 North African digsites so there would be plenty of room to put the Carcha

I am very satisfied as well. But i wont hold my breath for the "DLC".

Lets hope :)

There is also the possibility that TFK DLC is a free update for those who have the game on day 22 and then it becomes paid after that date. It would be a way to reward people who have bought the game launch, right?. About Acro and Carcha, hope is the last thing that is lost but unfortunately I see them outside, the demonstration seemed almost the final version. I am also disappointed by the absence of another classic such as Albertosaurus. They are putting into the game many species of Asia, maybe we have some Chinese tyrannosaur. I do not finish seeing the T-Rex as the only tyrannosaur species in the game.

I'm being realistic. I'm not gonna expect 10+ dinosaurs because of the movie release. Anyone who expects 5+ dinosaurs for free or as DLC is very optimistic. I will be happy with anything more, but i expect only the Indoraptor. And it will only be a week inbetween so well see what gets released or not. But i bet i'm not wrong.

A DLC that only contains Indoraptor, would be the first DLC of a Game I really care for that I would skip without even thinking about it. It is the worst designed and least interesting animal of JWFK, so in a way I would appreciate that.

I' still hoping it's 40 Dinosaurs+2 Hybrids+5 Deluxe Edition Dinosaurus but I'm sure that won't be the case.

What about the spinosaurus? Ive heard its extinct in the new movies, either way it would be funny to have in the game.

With those new dinosaurs number, i'm sure they have added spinosaurus and some other carnivores and a lots of herbivores AHAH!

What about the Spinosaurus? Ive heard its extinct in the new movies, but would be a fun addition in this game.

It is very unlikely that the spinosaurus will not appear. It is the favorite dinosaur of many people and is the badge of one of the movies. If they are in the game dinosaurs that have never appeared in movies, why not the spino?

Pd: 42 dinos...exceeds the expectations I had ... this game looks very good ...

As said, theres too many dinos missing from that latest dev build that are in JWFK. Either theyll be in the base game and are just deliberately missing from the dev build or they will come in an update after the films release. Which for the UK the film comes before the game (JWFK is releasing June 7TH) whilst to my knowledge its the game then film for most other places.

That said ill be absolutely disgusted if its a paid dlc, because that is 100% clearly held back content and as good as Frontier are with dlc from what ive seen, thats an instant no from me, wont even touch the game. Realistically it should be a free update and then dlc can come in the future :)

The release date of the movie is in a lot of countries before the game release: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4881806/releaseinfo
Many countries are missing from that list but also those have in many cases a earlier release date.
It's a big surprise that the movie releases so late in the USA if you look at the rest of the World.

In Japan, it opens on July 13 ... we hope it does not have to wait so long for the DLC.
