42 dinosaurs confirmed in JWE!

In Germany the movie comes out before JW Evolution hits! I won't go to the premiere and probably watch it after I got the game, but it's shocking that it releases 16 days earlier than in the US.

In my opinion, there is more than just 42 Dinossaurs at launch...
Pretty simple, if you watch carefully, the counting says 0/42 (0 out of 42 species) this happens when Struthiomimus IS available for clonning.. Soo my guess is that the 4 Dinossaurs available in the dev. gameplay, are not part of the total species so we can speculate that there is around 46 Dinossaurs at launch [ 40 in game + 5 from Deluxe edition + 1 Hybrid (Indominus Rex) ]
What are your thoughts???

I have taken the liberty to put the list of 42 and fill in gaps in alphabetical order. I have based this video on BestinSlot to do it:

I'm very likely to be mistaken but I think that instead of 42 Slots there will be 46 (45 if Indominus is not included as part of the species but as an hybrid)
In my post above yours i explain my reasons to think that...
What do you think m8?

Could be, I wouldn't rule that out but for the moment we know there are at least 42 dinosaurs.

I have a couple of unconfirmed well known dinosaurs, maybe some might end up in the game: Diplodocus, Gorgosaurus, Guanlong, Iguanodon, Megalosaurus, Ornithomimus, Sauropelta, Shunosaurus, Tarbosaurus and Utahraptor.

Tarbosaurus and Utahraptor I would discard them. Tarbo looks a lot like T-Rex and Utahraptor is the Velociraptor of the Jurassic Park saga basically. Of the rest Albertosaurus it would be more probable that Gorgosaurus and Iguanodon and Diplodocus do seem to me probable.

I think you can add Muttaburrasaurus aswell since it's the only dinosaur found in the mackunda formation otherwise it's seems good ;)

Maybe the one missing dinosaurs pre-deluxe edition added (aka 38) will come with the movie release? So thats potentially indoraptor and 1 dinosaur being added. And there is no Baryonyx either.

Dont worry about Baryonx, Allosaurus, Carnosaurus and others because it is extremely likely a fallen kingdom dlc/ content drop will happen in the same month, or shortly after. It would be a waste of free PR for fallen kingdom and evolution. [yesnod]

We could also have more than 42 at release, don't forget the footage we were shown at the end of March only had 30, so thats 12 more in a month and a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if they rounded the number up to 45 at launch.

I definitely could see them having 45 or even 50 at launch, if only for marketing sake. Pretty easy to market by saying "50 dinosaurs included"

That demo of March was very early. I'm sure it was not March really if not from much earlier. A version 0.30 can not be two and a half months before launch.

45 (with deluxe) could be the final number and 51 with the Fallen Kingdom DLC. Quite a few species more than I imagined. If there are 32 dig sites there must be a high number of species and 45-50 is a more suitable number for 32 dig sites.

I’m very happy with the number of dinosaurs, especially with the strong possibility of DLC.

I agree. This seems to be the general consensus but people have shown concern for the lack of carnivores. Particularly large ones. There is currently only 4 large carnivores (over 10m) confirmed, including the Indominus Rex.

# Dino’s Misleading

We need Acro and Carcha! [yesnod]
Ok so just gonna put this out there there is more than likely a total of 47 dinosaurs at least. If you look at the grouping it’s in groups of five if you add Baryonix, Allosaurus and Carnosaurus you get 45. The other two which brings it to 47 is actually hybrids which in the game is separate from the species of Dino’s. They wil be The indominus Rex and raptor. So look for at least 47 dinosaurs total.

If you look on JPOG, they had 5 ‘large carnivores’.

T-Rex, Allosaurus, Spinosaurus, Carcharadontosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus.
Going off confirmed and spotted dinosaurs for the release, there is literally only the T-Rex classed as a large carnivore. For the deluxe edition, you get the Majungasaurus and Suchomimus for carnivores, do you class them as Large carnivores, I think you would Suchomimus. I personally had never heard of the Majungasaurus before this.

I also think they will personally add more dinosaurs for future DLC, purely because more people will purchase carnivores for DLC rather than herbivores. Business wise, it makes sense.

They are probably keeping the big carnivores for last to show and the confirmed list has still quite a lot of open spots.
