A little unsure what to do now...

Agreed, it won't clear the bounty. I was just curious (even outside of OPs predicament) as to where the system would spawn you. At a station where you're wanted, or a station where you are not

Good point. It should put you somewhere you are not wanted, perhaps a detention center.

If getting to an available IF isn't possible then fuel-rats is certainly an option. Otherwise it is self-destruction and sort bounty out at detention center (I'm assuming you re-appear at a detention center?)

It’s the new C&P system, working hard to punish evil criminals like the OP and make crimes matter!

...

Yeah, doesn’t work for me, really.

It's a ridiculous state of affairs for a 200cr bounty, hopefully 3.0.3 sorts this small bounty rubbish out. Admittedly, all my ships have at least an emergency fuel scoop on them now, though learnt that the hard way before I knew about fuel rats near Fehu in a corvette.

Best advice, sounds like they'd only be too willing to help out: https://fuelrats.com/i-need-fuel

There are no low security areas near where I am, just Sothis and Ceos being high security, surrounded by Anarchy for lightyears..[/QUOTE]

Yeah its as annoying as it is tedious.

Theres a bullet that needs biting

This ^^

Utterly ridiculous that a small mistake like that can get you stranded. Let's hope they sort this out.

Agreed. The system is too punishing towards small PvE fines. There needs to be a threshold or something before locking players out of all services for so small a fine.

I hope you find a way out of this. But I have to say they didnt think the cnp through properly or test it properly. Eg if you accept a mission to kill a pirate etc from the main faction then you should have a warrant to kill the person no questions asked from that faction. If that was in play you would not be stuck like this because well they gave you the mission.

sadly, there was a lot of really good feedback on the proposed changes to C&P that seem to have been completely ignored. Now we're stuck with the existing system that doesn't seem to do much in the way of preventing Gankers and is extremely harsh when the accidental bump or fire before scanned fine happens :(

If you still in need of help then i can come to u.
Am on pc to... i will jump system to system whit u to refuel u. Until you are ad IF.
In about 1 hour am in game.

Question if you are in my ship as a crew member can you then pay fine / bounty ?

Lets face it, if you've not committed a murder and your bounty is below the threshold for a single murder then yeah, still let the stations talk to you etc - sure restrict services - but allow you to pay off the bounty - heck - even if you have to pay double!! The purpose behind the changes was not to make it such a problem when you got 200Cr fine etc - surely?

Also; I'd love to see an accrued bounty on yourself being removed if the ship you opened up on before scanning was subsequently found to be wanted (in your current system of course).

Lastly, I've noticed when a SLF comes out shooting them also gives you an asault charge - please let that be fixed in 3.0.3? :)

It looks like they heard you. From: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...3-0-3-Update?p=6523191&viewfull=1#post6523191

A full list of changes will be posted on the day of the update; however, we will also be making some revisions to crime functionality. We’ve provided some details by Lead Designer, Sandro Sammarco, below:

For 3.0.3 we’re altering crime functionality: when you are wanted in a jurisdiction, your ship automatically deactivates the system authority link to prevent crimes gainst you from being detected. This is in line with it using anonymous access protocols to protect you from detection when docking at ports where you are wanted. It means that players will no longer be committing crimes when attacking wanted ships, even if they have not scanned them. It is still important to scan vessels that you are unsure about, but you will no longer become a criminal for attacking a criminal.
