Just so I understand, if items are unlocked and available on Nublar in sandbox mode, they should be available on the other islands in sandbox mode, correct? That is the issue I am seeing. Several buildings and items available on Nublar are not available on the other islands in sandbox mode. Tried reloading the campaign and even went to every island, but no luck. Guess I will need to contact support..

Let me know if you have any luck man, this is very frustrating seeing as I’ve unlocked every single thing. Don’t really wanna have to go through certain islands in the campaign again basically replaying them entirely just to reunlock things
Maybe this is the same problem I had but I was confused with how items were unlocked in the new sandbox modes. Instead of going back to campaign mode and researching/unlocking items like you normally would most of the time its just a matter of 4 starring or 5 starring an island in the campaign. When you see an item/dinosaur that isnt unlocked in the new sandbox modes when you hover over said items it will probably say something like "Need four stars for X island". I had to go back to one of my saves and four star sorna to get dryosaurus and a bunch of other dinos unlocked which is weird because I thought I had done that on another save. Then again I have been playing mostly on challenge mode for sometime so I could be wrong.
I keep saying it, they need to male it a true sandbox so everything and i mean everything is unlocked when you start an island in sandbox mode. No one and specially content creators want to go through this whole unlocking progress again. Either make it a true sandbox mode or simply name it something else other then sandbox. Definition of sandbox is for a game everything unlocked with total freedom.
Just loaded up JWE myself to have a play in sandbox mode on the other islands. Same as above posts I can't use unlocked buildings even though I have 5 starred most of the islands. Also the first island seems to have reset itself. Rather annoying, and loading a save didn't help with sandbox mode unlocks 
That’s the issue, you five starred most of them. It isn’t too hard. As for fixing it?
