It not bitterness, Sleut. It's just astonishment that people can be so resistant to the entertainment that Zarek provides.

And I use the word resistant very deliberately. I mean, the guy is the epitome of what so many have posited for years - that PvP is OK as long as it has an underlying roleplay purpose, blah blah blah. Zarek Null not only roleplays his purpose (I think I've only ever seen him break character once), but he delivers that purpose in a smart, comical way.

It's fun, and funny, and entertaining. And while not every form of entertainment will appeal to all types, my observation is that many resist being entertained by his antics only because there are exploding spaceships in his videos (and that is what I meant with my pride comment).

It really is a shame.

I also am not one of the DW2 expedition and thus not one whose thrust you'd want to gain. But based on your general apparance on the forums and in game and the reputation you spend a lot of effort to build, i consider it close to impossible for you to recover from that.

My question for you is, do you only care about yourself, and if other people are dying by the hundreds, you see no problem with it? I'm trying to understand the explorer mentality here. Is it essentially ego-centric?

That's rich, you labeling explorers as ego-centric!

Let's be honest and straight here, no roleplaying. You don't actually care about the "explorer mentality". Also this is not a "conflict" as you keep calling it. You are a seal clubber, out to bludgeon seals for some laughs at their expense. That's not a "war", it's oppression, and you can't negotiate "peace" in situations like that because bullies aren't interested in peace. If you and your kind were then you wouldn't be killing explorers in the first place. There's no benefit to it, nothing to gain other than spreading misery and bullying the weak for some chuckles.

Do you also blame the Jewish people for not negotiating peace with the s during WWII? No rational, thoughtful, respectful person would propose such a thing.

You want peace? Stop killing explorers, it's really that simple.

I know you won't though because peace is not your goal. Attention is, along with spreading grief and mining salt.

Well, if your political objectives go anything further than slaughtering innocents, I don't really see much "achieving" going on so far. Posting some statistics of supposed body counts won't really help you win a war. You know who else posted body counts? William Westmoreland.

I think the organizers that govern the expedition should come out of their bunker and attend these peace talks in Open, or at least allow the Overlord's top emissaries into their PG under the white flag. How many more pawns must be ground into meal, grist for a war they cannot hope to understand, before this bloodshed can be put to rest?
