A request for help

The beacons have been lit, the request for aid has been received. My fleet carrier, De Hollandse Draak, will be jumping in system and with HNLMS Noordse Vinvis I'll be providing aid to tackle the larger stuff such as steel and titanium. Take it easy CMDR, enjoy the time you have left with friends and family - we'll make sure it's finished and your legacy is honored.

[TRGE] Istanbul (J8J-1VM) is joining the effort.

Loading Titanium from Konscak's Pride - Col 285 Sector BQ-N b20-0.

Carrier will be in orbit around 12 minutes.

300% of galactic average is set as buy order to present some profit to haulers.

This community can really be something special at times. Very proud to be a part of it right now.

I’m downing tools on my T3 planetary port and will help out with whatever I can….should there be anything left by the weekend.

Very best thoughts for you and your family Cmdr.

Seems like FC came down on the other side of the planet. I will keep it in place for now since these are work hours and the station will orbit to carrier's position eventually.

Greetings Commanders,

I have a sad story which I hope you'll indulge me in and I could use some help from the community.

After the initial push for colonization of system I built a few facilities and tried to work out how everything fitted together as I'm sure many of us did. After a while I picked a spot for an Orbis Starbase, knowing that it was a big job that would take me about a month of hauling, it was no big deal, I had all the time in the world.

I no longer have all the time in the word. After a month of headaches (and little gametime due to the headaches) I eventually collapsed in my bathroom one Monday morning a few weeks ago and was unable to get back to my feet but eventually, after an hour, managed to crawl to my phone and call an ambulance. The ambulance crew arrived and initially diagnosed me as having had a stroke so I was taken to hospital for a brain scan where they discovered that it wasn't a stroke but was in fact Metastatic Brain Cancer. I spent the next 10 days in a hospital bed and was discharged home last week. I'm getting plenty of help at home from family, friends, and local services. The prognosis doesn't leave much in the way of hope, treatment is limited, there's not much they can do except for treat any pain I might get and keep me comfortable. Thankfully there hasn't been any pain as the steroids prevent my brain from swelling which I am grateful for.

The left-hand side of my body doesn't work very well now and playing, though possible, is difficult and not very much fun and things will just get worse from here.

It seems impossible now that this Orbis Station will ever be completed but I don't really want to leave it as a loose end so I though I would ask for the help of our wonderful community, I hope I haven't overstretched.

The system Is Col 285 SECTOR TD-R B 18-0

The construction site is currently called Challis Town but I'm thinking of spending some ARX to rename it to something more cancer research related. I haven't decide what yet, and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Most of the stuff you'll need is in a nearby system named Visho which is 29.1LY away and can get there and back in 1 jump fully laden with the right Cutter.

There is a surface station on Visho A2 named Sucharitkul Prospect which has many of the required materials, mainly metals.

The nearest Trailblazer ship is located at Ngobe which is 238.76LY.

If any of you could see your way to helping me out to tie up this loose end I would be very grateful.

Thank you Commanders.

The initial response to my request has been nothing short of amazing. The ED community is fantastic and you should all be proud to be a part of it. I am a little overwhelmed by the kindness and positivity and getting a bit emotional (in a good way). Thank you Commanders, you truly are the best.

Put a small dent in the CMM's.
