Hmmm, yes....yes I see it now....definitely some kind of..what did you call it...darn...I lost it again :-/
Here's what I've got so far, after some quick Wikipedia-ing.
Chimera's bane is Bellerophon, which was also the name of an exo-planet orbiting a star in the Pegasus constellation.
Chiona was indeed the daughter of Daedalion, who was turned into a hawk by Apollo after he tried to fling himself from a mountain after his daughter died. There is a meteor named after Chiona somewhere near earth.
Achilles had three horses. The main two were Balius and Xanthus. The third one was Pedasos. Don't know about this.
Anyway, that's all I've managed to put together so far. Unfortunately, I've got to write today too, so I can't spent too much more time on this.

I'm thoroughly impressed with the knowledge by our members. This is amazing work, everyone. Now all we need to do is put these answers together to solve the riddle. I'm out in Colonia, so can't visit Sol to see if there's a connection.
What if each line of the riddle was the name of a planet or space station?
I'm pretty sure that's what's going on. Or, if not every single line, maybe every pair or stanza, depending on the sentence structure. The question is, do these stations/planets have a connection? Like, are they scattered in a circle around around one area of space, and that's the goal? Or is there something at each of them that will lead to another mystery.
This data's connection to the Children of Raxxla makes me think that it could very easily be related to the in-game event that's coming up in a couple weeks. Maybe it points to where things are going to start out.
Aside from the obvious Sol references, the riddle also highlights Prism - both the two lines concerning Daedalion ("He transformed into a Hawk and "A daughter of Daedalion) and "mother of Ulysses" refer back to Prism, with planets names Daedalion, Chione (his daughter) and Anticlea (Odysseus' mother).
I'm off to do family stuff for Easter (happy Easter everybody) and will post more of my theories tonight.

I didn't know about those planets in Prism. More evidence this relates to Salome and the Children of Raxxla.

Its funny they chose a Greek mythology theme.

So this is a dead end the crater isn't in game but I went to the coordinates listed for it anyway .
After my usual lack of skill of finding and landing at coordinates was overcome I found a few skimmers guarding the usual jadeite etc and nothing else.
I guess the first letter of all the answers spells something.

fibonacci zephyrum, I'd say this is more to do with the mathematical spiral graph. all the locations are pointing to something either close by, or something far away.
once we've got it all added together bookmark the locations on a gal map and see what it looks like form there. it'll look like a shell pointing us somewhere.
is there a medusa or echidna region of space?

Nemesis is also another name for Nibiru, a hypothetical brown dwarf orbiting the sun at extreme distances. Still technically in Sol so it would fit with the Sol theme. I think Drew did confirm the event on the 29th will take place in the bubble. Polaris is permit locked and has been for quite a while. It would be cool if they opened it for the 29th.
Fibonacci's zephyrum/a poor misers sum also likely means zero. That could mean a point of origin or center if we look at a graphical representation of the Fibonacci sequence. That could mean alot of places - Sol, Prism, etc.
