Across the galaxy in a Sidewinder

Brookes, please get this on Galnet!!
(apologies for the off topic post)

Can you not call him micheal or even mr brooks if you prefere, but just 'brookes' is simply being rude.

Its a tendency ive seen from a few posters when they are trying to make a derogatory point about one or other of the dev's and
Its just unnesassary.

I very much doubt it was meant to be disrespectful or derogatory. At my university we are all addressed by our last names by professors without anything preceeding it. "Stevens, please explain blah blah". It might differ depending on your location.

On topic, I can't wait to see how much you've earned on this trip!

when i heard this I thought immediately of Joshua Slocum and his round-the-world trip in a tiny sloop. great achievement and good luck on the way back.

Well done, and I am willing to try and be an escort (although my Python can only jump 18LY when empty).

EDIT; Now in an Anaconda, with 25LY range when empty. Still willing to be an escort.

Great news R4. :) Are you heading back across the galactic core, or following one of the spiral arms home?

He bypassed the core on the way out, it's only right that he returns via Sag A, if only for a group photo! Go on R4, go via the big black hole. What have you got to loose? ;)

Safe travels on your return R4, Love watching your stream and been an amazing journey in the trusty Sidewinder!

"For The Damn Glory!"

After taking a couple months off from flying old Sneaky Pete, I have continued with my journey and I'm heading home. I'm currently about 50,000ly from Sol. At the current rate, I expect to return to colonized space sometime in November... if I survive. I stream the journey live during my weekly Elite: Dangerous marathon stream on Twitch (soon to change to YouTube Gaming) once a week from Midnight Wednesday night until noon Thursday CDT (that's Texas time for ya'll that don't know). Feel free to friend me on Steam and also join my Steam Group for updates. #FTDG o7

Great news, fly safe CMDR.
