OK, can confirm that this is a Good Plan. The Anaconda has made me over 10 million just since I posted about considering the upgrade this morning. There's nothing I need to upgrade at this point, if I'm only doing solo trade loops with it - I've D rated everything other than the FSD which is a B, stuffed it full of cargo racks, and it's definitely a step up from the Python for that purpose.

See this is what bugs me with FD pun intended
Brought an Imperial clipper but didnt get my 20% discount for being aligned to the Imperial faction and in a controlled system.
So its broken!!!!

Thanks to this thread I managed to buy a discounted, Python, FDL, Diamondback Explorer, Diamondback Scout, Vulture, ASP and Anaconda.
With ships and outfitting saved 125 mil !!! (got carried away with my adding up, lots of zeros
)
As to previous poster, at Binet, Anaconda was discounted, bought it, then it was full price, left and returned it was discounted again so maybe it's a little buggy.....

Halfway through outfitting the Conda @ Binet (not that they have a good selection, lol), I noticed they weren't giving me module discounts. Needless to say I've sold them back and am heading back to Bhritzameno to buy my modules...not sure what's up but something's buggy at Binet...so while you can get a Conda there you may need to dock a few times (or relog?) to see if it offers up the discount.

While I was in Bhritz as usual, two or three CMDRs told me they didn't see the discounts. I suggested them to re-log, and after that, discounts magically appeared for them. So yes, something strange was happening this evening... I suggest everyone to hurry up...

Aww, and I was about to redo my whole fleet... At least I rebuild and get 20+% off Anaconda, Python, Dropship, FdL and Vulture yesterday...
EDIT: It is not stable as previously stated. It sometimes show discount, sometimes dont. Even changing ships can remove previously shown discount.

Ggrrrrrrrrr. This is killing me. Want to log in before work and pick up a Conda. Didn't know where they were hiding until this mornings post updates.

I think the Hudson discounts are (mostly) gone guys... I have been trying to get it to reappear by relogging, buying and selling randomly, changing ships etc. and nothing works reliably. It still appears VERY RARELY (so if you're aiming for an Anaconda hull for example, it's still worth camping), but you do 1 or 2 purchase and then you get a "server error" and prices are back undiscounted. So for those like me that's just looking to lower their module costs, just go for the reliable 15%-er at Lembava area,

Added that the Hudson discount is "Very broken"
To be honest I always expected that one to disappear after a while since there's nothing in the flavour text about it. It only says weapons 10% in controlled system not everything at 20%...

Yes, I suggest to leave LHS 3447 alone: there are very few modules and ships there. Checked.
About Bhritza, when I logged out this night, discounts were still there, for me at least...

Had no "discount problem" at 15449 yesterday early evening. Although I did notice that I couldn't buy back my previous module after I had gone AFK for ~15 minutes, and I didn't log off. Just kept the list open with the module that I just sold still on top and after I came back I decided "Okay, i shouldn't have sold that" and got a server error. Clicked back into the list and it was gone. I probably need to test that again
Anyone know where I can get discounted bulkheads for the Anaconda?

Well the Conda is 146 million at Binet Port at the time of posting. Seems like I'll have to rebuy at Jameson for 10% and cut my loses.......
