Hmmm, interesting. These guys really like their triangles. I feel bad for the alien kid that fails geometry in that race!

i think until evidnce is presented any maps or theories of search maps should be taken as a grain of salt or at least evidence or thought processes shared with the community

What I meant to post on *this* thread is, the third crash site looks odd in that the human ships look like they've been dumped there (no terrain scarring, ships partially buried especially the T9 halfway up the hill) whereas the alien ship definitely crashed there. Was it taking a closer look?

unless new ruins are found or other clues emerge, the CGs are acting as a bit of a break on new breakthroughs for a while
We keep breaking frontiers plans, and they havent cottoned on that more procedural automatic content will fill voids so they rush to do more hand placed content
im scouting the sectors between califonia and paleadies ( hind, steuves lost and ill eventually go and check the border systems along col 70 sector and end up at the orion nebula and just probing the <2000ly around sol just in case something is to be found)

Concerning Alien Crash Site #2:
Two ships have "serial numbers".
1. The T9 flat on the ground is buried and I could only find "01" on it, even with "submerged" DevCam.
2. The T9 up in the hill shows "02" and a serial (posted in Canonn Discord, have a screenshot but not at hand right now.)
EDIT As shown by the latest screenshot ("Hardpoints deployed", further down) the T9 lying on it's side has a "03" on top. Which would point to a simple numbering ... or did I miss a T9 at the site?
3. Couldn't find a number on any of the two Anacondas.
Questions to all, especially T9 owners:
1. Do T9's have such numbers as per default, is it the same for all and which is it?
2. Can others confirm similar findings?

Very interesting find! Seems to confirm our suspicions that some organisation is aware of aliens & suppressing all evidence of this; since "company directive" phrasing is used then I suspect Sirius Corporation, though could be another (e.g. Caine Massey?)

Been following the topic for a while and finally got myself to visit the ruins to see the stuff you've been so diligently studying and describing
Probably nothing important, but I did notice one thing: if you align with one of the buttresses on the platform (the one at the beginning of the ramp) you'll see two things:
1. The buttress has a small marking/symbol, like an arrow.
2. It seems to be pointing towards a star (circled in green) 4 other stars (yellow circles) look to me like they're following the pattern of the beacons (or, beacons follow their patter on the ground.)
Again, might be nothing, just food for thought

...and if you orient the map of the ruins to match position with the beacons, your green circle is in the position of one of the "server" groups ..

As the planet rotates around its axis and revolves it's parent (which revolves around the star) exactly where the buttress is pointing will change.
Standard UP Behaviour. Nothing to worry about. Happens also when you find them in space.
A few pics from the site. No signs of human life. I count 5 vessels (2 Anacondas, 2 Type 9's, and 1 unidentified) alongside the alien wreck. There's also the busted/melted chassis of an SRV just like Crash Site 2.
Something interesting here: I can't find any signs that any of the human vessels slid along the surface. They instead look like they either fell straight down or came in, each of them uncontrollable and succuming to the moon's 0.34G gravity, and impacted straight into the site. Two vessels sliced directly into the side of the mountain where they've buried themselves in.
On one T9, I took a couple of photos of some identification markings. Does anyone here know if these birds belonged to any faction? Is there any way we can determine how old the wreck is based on these birds, their markings, their colours, and/or livery, if any? It'll point in the direction of whether or not these crashes are contemporary in nature rather than historical that are just now being discovered.
