Buildings & Attractions Allow for more management with the Aviary

Hello!

This could be for either Jurassic World Evolution or its sequel if it ever gets one, but I would like to see a bit more customization when it comes to the aviary.

I have been playing Planet Zoo for a few days now, and one of their major management game play is the care for exhibit animals. Animals that are housed in glass exhibits as they would be too small to live in the game's Habitats (like frogs, lizards, snakes, insects). I did note that the exhibits have a great deal of customization to help make these small exhibits feel unique and cater to the animal inside.

Currently in JWE, we have the Pteranodon as the only creature to inhabit the exhibit. Maybe we could get more pterasaur species in the future but I think the pteranodon would be the only creature to worry about for the time being. Our current options are to incubate between 1 - 6 individuals, apply cosmetic genes, and the upgrades to increase incubation success rate or incubation speed. I feel like we could do more with the aviary to flesh it out more, while still respecting it as a static building.

1) Feeding quantity and restock.
So far we do not have the means to maintain our aviary over a period of time. Other exhibits would have us go and restock the feeders when they are about to run out so that the dinosaurs do not starve. I think we should still have this be an element for our aviary, even though it is a large stationary bird cage, you still need to feed the birds in the cage. This is so that we could maintain and upkeep our pteranodon. If we fail to restock our aviary for too long, our pterasaurs would start dying one by one.

This could also be used to help balance out the number of pteranodon we could have in the aviary. So far, the difference in cost of owning 6 pteranodon over 2 is not that big to worry about. So how about we tie the feeding to the lifespan of the pteranodon? So if we have a standard aviary with 2 pteranodon, the feeding quantity would have the pterasaurs live their expected 70 years, but if we were to boost the fish quantity from 1 to 5, we could extend the lifespan of the pteranodon much much further. However, if we plan to use 6 pteranodon, we have to make sure that they have enough fish for all of them to live their expected lifespan. This is so that we could determine if we want a longer lasting few pteranodon, or have the full set for a more limited amount of time. More dinosaur ratings vs longer lasting ratings. Additionally, the cost of resupplying the aviary with fish would change according to the quantity of fish to be supplied. This is to give players a means to think on how much they are willing to pay to maintain the setup.

2) Let us genetically modify our pteranodons.

This is the only time where we could not genetically modify our creatures beyond the cosmetic genes. I wish to modify their gene strand to hatch better quality pteranodon. This could be a simple 4 slot genetic strand, and the only trait that matters here is the lifespan trait. The Pterasaurr does not have a means to break out of their enclosures, and are not going to combat other dinosaurs, so let us modify just the lifespan traits. This is so we could have longer living pteranodons with the cardio strength genes, or pteranodons that have a higher dinosaur rating with the hyperefficient blood genes, in exchange for a more expensive pteranodon with a lower success rate of course.

3) Scenery items for the aviary

With how the exhibits work in planet zoo, you have to research the creature inside the aviary so that you could provide scenery items. This is to make the exhibits more suitable for your animals. In JWE, we do utilize scenery boost for our dinosaurs. However, none of the scenery items we have would affect the pteranodons in their aviaries. So let us research aviary scenery sets from the research lab, this could be 3 separate research objects: Aviary scenery set 1.0, Aviary scenery set 2.0, and Aviary scenery set 3.0. Each one of these would cost more than the version prior to research. Since the aviary is only available in 3 stars in challenge mode, we could have it so that Aviary scenery set 1.0 and 2.0 are available in 3 stars, and have Aviary scenery set 3.0 be available in 4 stars. Each set would add an additional 5% scenery boost to the base rating of the pteranodon. So a pteranodon housed without any scenery set would be at 98 dinosaur rating, where one with Aviary scenery set 3.0 would give it a 15% boost to their base rating, making it 112, which would greatly help boost ratings of a set of 6 pteranodons from 588 to 676 with a difference of 99, essentially a free pteranodon.

I like the inclusion of the aviary to Jurassic World Evolution as it does add a new visual to my parks, but I do wish stationary exhibits like these would have a deeper depth in management to make up for the lack of player customization. Please let me know what you guys think!
