an exodus of epic proportions

What happened to this epic exodus? Did they all finally fall through the ground in Jank Citizen? Not everyone can sell that crap well.
You follow the old burnt-out streamers? There are plenty like Down To Earth Astronomy and the Buur Pit that stream elite.pretty much every ED streamer I follow has now moved on to streaming Star Citizen. Ironically, the only one who still does stream ED consistently, is Yamiks.
Am I surprised? not really! FDev moved on so why shouldn't they?
I can just imagine the phone call between Chris Roberts and David Braben
Chris: "Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you. We made millions since Odyssey released"
David: "You're welcome"

sometime around late March last year...
DB: "Chris, we're about to launch Odyssey in about a month or so....you said SC would be in a good place by then, right?
CR: "Yeah, we're right on track, maybe even ahead of schedule...we also have a free fly event, near the end of May"
DB: "Oh perfect, we'll be launching Odyssey after the access to our beta happens...I told you about what the in-house beta testers went through, right? We're releasing that, so the players see how rough it was, then release the actual one...you know, the ones from the recent streams. Everything is working fine...even on consoles."
Then mid May...
DB: "Ok, we're finalizing the game...this is going to be great, EDO and SC looking good."
CR: "Well, about that....remember when I said we were ahead of schedule...turns out we couldn't get a few key things to work right so we're having to..."
DB: "Thats what you said the last time...why do I keep believing this...Im invested in this too, you know?? Ok...ok...dont worry....oh, I know....we'll release the alpha of EDO...that was even rougher than the beta."
CR: "Ok....we'll have more stuff ready for next year, I promise! The money's just rolling in"
DB: "Sweet, I'll take some of that, thank you"
CR: "You got it"
DB: "We'll put it towards Cobra 2...wait till you see it! we even have bus services in it...Oh Seven Chris!"
I follow OA when he streams something that interests me and recently started following the Buur Pit.
