Annoying things found In Elite Dangerous.

- there's no indicator of the mode your in; there needs to be some sort of subtle reminder if you're in open, solo, etc. (missing since launch)
Probably will think of few more...

Agreed. However, you press Esc (at a good time) to see what mode your in.

I enjoy taking High Res Screen shots, but while I am in Open or Private and forget I am in them, but have the perfect Scene to Grab a quick screen shot and Whamo! nothing happens. The opportunity is gone just like that. All because I forgot which game mode i was in. We aren't allowed to take High Res Screen shots in Open or Private Group.

What about if you don't agree with something in the OP?

I'm just asking because I don't agree with this:

Don't use "we". Inclusive language assumes everyone agrees with, wants to be or is engaged with your "opinions" (that actually don't enumerate any "solutions" so are pretty much irrelevant as you provide no positive ideas on "fixing" anything).

I won't give you any rep but at least you haven't slagged off the devs or Braben............... yet.

Obviously SC didn't work for you.

Good point. I will re word this one. ;)

I got an annoying thing. So many beautiful ships have offset cockpits / dual seating nonsense. I AM THE COMMANDER (Do you know de wae?! Where is the Queen mah broddas, I smell da ebola) of my ship. I do not have a co-pilot and if I did they can be off to the side like proper in the Anaconda / Corvette. Beluga, Orca, Cutter, FDL, etc etc, all of them have gorgeous viewports / view real-estate, but damn the offset cockpit when flying is so damn annoying. I should be smack in the center and anyone else off to the sides, the offset nonsense is just bad design on Frontiers part. I get they wanted things to feel different in some ships but this is just ridiculous and stupidly poor design, no one would fly a ship like this realistically.

Yeah I don't know how this guy does it day in day out. It's so hard to judge where you are when sat to the side!

In space too! Madness, and look at those window pillars. Cant believe this got past the initial brief tbh.

As for things I don't like, mission signals being totally random. It always feels like you are just waiting for a timer to time out for them to pop up. I would at least like a rudimentary scanner that pinpoints them on approach so that you are actually finding them rather than waiting for an RND timer.

You can add the message that says give way to larger ships, when I am flying the biggest damn ship in game so far......and a hauler bumps into me, despite me trying to squeeze my massive ship over to the side, and get warned/fined as a result.

Wait whut? The game is essentially perfect according to some.

I agree with pretty much everything you've listed. And would add:

- the mouse cursor is stuck on for some reason until manually moved ever since 2.4 (my OCD is going crazy with this one)
- there's no indicator of the mode your in; there needs to be some sort of subtle reminder if you're in open, solo, etc. (missing since launch)

Ummm the cursor thing annoys me at times too...

As for game mode indicator... I used EDDiscovery on my second monitor which lists which game mode I'm in for each line in the log, so I can see which mode I have been into as well as the current one.

From what Ive read, the mouse cursor thing may be due to a win10 update. So possibly not ED related.

Pressing Esc key tells you the mode.

Docking computer tried to land on an occupied pad :)

lol really? That's humerus as well as Annoying. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting approach to the issue. Creative too, but this would encourage programming outside the game I think. Non the less, thanks for sharing your creative solution.
