Going by the post from geoffrey.hdt we have these many merits to go:

LTT 16548 3475
NGBATO 5209
COMANGA 5318
SAN MUSS 4954
HUAICH 5861

Best bang for your buck is complete LTT, then Ngbato.

There just aren't any more systems near us with large stations that are worth more CC.
I've tried to avoid us taking systems with small stations, because it will really hurt our ability to fortify them, but there is just nothing left, unless Antal, Patreus or Hudson lose systems on our border.

As for why Dhak is actually worth 70cc, the systems that you "control" isn't where the actual income is from.
It is the "Control System", think of this as being where our tax collectors (or is it protection money collectors?) are based from.
They then tax every system in a 15 light year radius, these systems are the "Exploited Systems"

The Exploited systems are what are actually worth CC, and the more of them in the 15 light year radius, the more CC you get.

So its easier to say "Dhak is worth 70CC" but thats not accurate. The 15 light year bubble centered around Dhak is worth 70cc.
Dhak itself is quite ordinary.

Thanks for the explanation. I did knew that the sounding systems count for the total CC value, but thought the system itself needed to be valuable too.

I personally prefer small stations, because they have less security. But I agree it will be hard to fortify because bigger ships won't be able to dock.

My explanation was still simplifying it :)

You get CC from the Control system and all the Exploited systems.
The CC is based on the population of the system. Thats it, the economy type (like Hi Tech) doesn't change anything, and the number or type of stations doesn't change anything.

You get 4CC for the lowest population systems (under 3600 I think)
12CC or 13CC is the most I have seen, this was for systems with over 3.6 billion people.

So one single system is only worth 4cc to 12cc. So there is an 8cc variance between a good and bad system. This means the only important thing is the total number of exploited systems, not how good the control system is, but a better control system will give you a little bit more cc.

Correct, but: When it'll be hard to fortify, won't it be hard to undermine as well?

Edit: Uups, just had a faulty in reasoning. It's only hard for the powers that have to ship cargo to undermine for sure.

You're right. I had the answer by myself, just a second after sending my post. Since I use to fortify/prepare only, this won't come to my mind. But thanks for the explanation.

I just logged in for the last 5 mins.
Looked like we won Mandii, but lost the other 2 expansions.

Galnet projected we would have over 100cc (but this probably doesn't update in the last 2 hours.

ALD looked like they would be in Turmoil, so would Hudson.

Jormor was pushed off our preparation list for the system worth 28. Someone really wanted that one bad, just like this week with mandii, we don't want anyone to go there and expand it.

With less CC we should be able to manage our preparation list better, OR Delphini and Wolf 1148 should be prepped again.

Wow.... for real? We went up and no one in turmoil.

Good work.

Yip, 9th.

We only got 3 expansions, Gliese 828.4 isn't on our list, I put in a bug report here, but none of my bug reports even get a comment from an FD employee, let alone get fixed.

Feel free to bump it or comment, unless we make the same noise as ALD or Aisling, we will continue to just be ignored.

Evejitaka reports as having a potential value of 58cc but it doesn't, it cuts into existing systems so its only worth 28cc.
We do not want to expand this one, but it does have a good strategic position closer to the empire and Torvals Imperial Slaves.

VVo 19 and Dhak are both ok systems.
Dhak is worht a bit more CC, but it only has small stations.

If you want to work on an expansion, one of these two would be good.

hi, i'm new to the forums and only just found this thread, I am pledged to Archon Delaine and I would like to apologize for being the d***head who prepared Devana, without any knowledge or consultation with anyone else it seemed like a good move to me, it probably wasn't and i trust your judgement and am happy to help out with whatever expansion/preperation/fortification/undermining you need. sorry for my incompitance.

Welcome aboard Uselessmedics. We all make mistakes and you're here now so we can all get on the same page. This wasn't as destructive to us as whoever expanded Mandii!

I notice you're on xbox - we've been trying to get connected with Xbox players for a while. If you happen to know others then the biggest help you can be is pointing them towards this thread and our thread over on reddit: www.reddit.com/r/kumocrew

I appreciate the openness of your comment and the apology!

Good to have you onboard, and although Devana was a harmful system for us to prepare, the game doesn't really do a good job telling anyone that.

The main thing that is hidden is the overhead costs. The more systems you get, the more it goes up.
aTUctAE.png

You can see our current overheads are 554cc per week.

What you can't see, is the next system we expand to will increase this by another 57cc, to 611cc.
So when you see the "profit" a system is worth in the galaxy map, this is actually 57 worse.

Here is a system someone is prepping for us right now:
ymqzjw0.png

You can see it has a profit of -11cc.
Well its actually -11 - 57 = -68cc per week.

There are not many profitable systems left for us now, all we can do is try to take ones that are over 50cc to reduce the damage as much as possible.

Preparation updates (October 7th 6:00pm CST):
------------------------------------------------------
[5057] Gliese 828.4, worth -23cc (very bad)
[3678] Jormor, worth 58cc
[3424] Vvo 19, worth 52cc
[3134] Dhak, worth 70cc

[3001] Evejitaka, worth 28cc (bad)
[2522] Devana, worth 1cc (very bad)
[2434] Binjhwarku, worth -7cc (very bad)

(in bold are the top 4 systems going to be prepared tomorrow if nothing changes)
Hi guys,

So, Evejitaka, initially worth 28cc, went to an unexpected 58cc profit...if this is a bug and we happen to win it, I hope it will not get back to 28cc...

Image_2015-10-08_07-39-47.jpg

...but what happened to Jormor? We were supposed to win the preparation for this one, worth initially 58cc...I see that it is not part of our candidates for expansion, and has also a profit bumped up to 75cc!
EDIT: And now we cannot even prepare it since its cost is at 155cc and we have only 111cc to spend...
EDIT2: I am creating a bug for the same...

Image_2015-10-08_07-50-57.jpg

And yep, for Gliese 828.4, which should be part of our candidates for expansion, bugged at -23cc...well, lucky bug that we did not win the preparation, but it leaves a bitter taste since we have been fighting for this one many cycles to get the holly 62cc profit...now it does not even show any power Play data...

I posted here about that already :)

The cc listed for the systems in the expansion phase doesn't take into account if another power, or our power, already owns the systems next to it.
The Preparation number is accurate, the expansion number isn't.

Eve is still worth only 28cc, but it lists as 58, which might make some of our people want to expand it.

Gliese was number 1 preped system, we didn't get that, Jormor was number 5.

Jormor might have been 5th on the list before the cycle ended.
I haven't seen a screenshot of the end to know for sure.
I doubt it...since it was above Vvo 19, Dhak and Evejitaka...
Getting Jormor to 5th, would have meant to get all the other systems above it...very unlikely.

I also (as far as I remember, but who knows I may have been tired) checked yesterday around 10pm CST and did not see any change in the order of the preparation list (but neither took note or screenshot).

Anyway, FD is the one who can now check this and eventually take some corrective actions...
