I noticed that if I take a mission worth a 10M reward, I'll get attacked by pirates that have 1M bounty for that mission.
If I take a mission worth 90k reward, I'll get attacked by pirates around 9k bounty for that mission.
In either case, they might be deadly anacondas with engineering, but their bounty values seem 100% based only on the mission that spawned them.
Is that meant to be the case? It seems weird to get paid 9k for taking out a deadly anaconda with engineering.
Edit: I checked; it doesn't seem to impact the bounty values of pirates unrelated to missions, and it doesn't seem to depend on any other variables whatsoever. Confirmed on my account and my friend's account separately. Seems true of any mission related pirate with ranks that range from Master to Deadly.
Edit Edit: I should mention this is in Horizion 4.0.
Edit edit edit: We tried it in 3.8; same deal! Is this normal?
