Are you ok hon?

I’ve kind of given up on GalNet. Even GalNet audio fail to provide anything of use. It’s a shame, because it really could be amazing as means of communicating in-game events and activities, but it’s really a recap of things that are over. CG’s are easy enough to find and check out from their home in the mission board.

I simply do not see anyone at Frontier ever quite “getting it” and making GalNet a valuable resource of current and upcoming events, rather than a historical repository of things it’s too late to care about.

A friend of mine suggested Galnet Audio could also do with a pause button.

I never use it myself either.

It *could* be an awesome utility. It's just needs a little tweak.

This thread hasn't aged well. I clicked OP's link and the top three stories are based on community interaction.

That said, I don't mind if Galnet would be 100% worldbuilding. That's why it's there, and it's one of the best ways to do it. Since I got my wish of being able to listen to Galnet in my ship, it's been a really immersive tool for me.

I think it's aged perfectly. It's exactly what I was suggesting, that Galnet sticks to reporting game relevant information instead of random tosh.

Now, if only they had a sports page that reported on CqC results from manufacturers teams...

Oh, also, do you think Galnet Audio needs a pause button?

Yes I'm fine, thanks hon

Well that's good to hear. Do you even Galnet?

I think it has one, doesn't it? It should pause and play with the same button.
