Notice ARX and Frontier Points Conversion

I'm on Xbox and have always had some left over Frontier Points, ugh the thought, I used those when there was a sale going on since the left over was always a stupid amount that I couldn't spend normaly.
The value of those left overs were never more the one or two euros, yup no meat for dinner that week.
Imho you're making a fuzz over a couple euros that you'll always be able to spend at a later time unless you don't want to buy anything anymore at all, big deal, one less cheese burger at McDonald's.
I don't use Euros, so...

But I do know the value of a dollar, and so I don't waste them on stuff I cant use.

But now you'll be earning Arx as you play. So those left-over Arx will keep mounting up until you either add some more cash to them or they add up to enough to buy something you want. They won't just hang around any more.

You've got that straight.
I've got no problem with the new system in any way.

One thing I find interesting. Back on page 15, Frontier said the maximum price of a ship paint job was 5520 Arx. That's £2.76-£3.30. No paint-job costs that much currently. It would be disappointing if they were gouging the pulse paint-jobs, (currently £2) but, given that they haven't increased the price of anything else, I wonder if we are getting some new skins.

It would be disapointing if they were gouging the pulse paint-jobs, (currently £2) but, given that they haven't increased the price of anything else, I wonder if we are getting some new skins.

They did say they enhanced the skin rendering. Who knows what they have planned.

You never spend money on something you don't use?
Try telling that to my kids when they need another ten bucks or so, in my eyes it's useless to them it's a necessity.
My wife says the same thing about me, and vice versa of course but I keep my voice down.

I can't say I haven't made mistakes, but I certainly try not to. If I see it as a mistake before I do it, I won't.

Fleet Carrier paints are bigger so a tad more expensive?
I dunno, I do know that some paints realy need a quality improvement, some are realy bad compared to the high standards in graphics in the game.

I actually do use the public services they pay for. how do you get internet as a hermit living off the grid without using roads? I'm curious how that works.

You got me there, it sure feels different though every time I pay more tax then someone else just because I'm financially independent.
I don't realy mind though, I can live without it while there are so many who can't.

Still my opinion is that the way Fdev runs their shop is far from evil or a scam, I've seen far worse, especially in the gaming industry.
It's a personal choice whether an item is worth it's price or not, no one can speak for another in that matter.

The ED store is a business feature not a charity hand-out.

And yes I agree with you fully, but you missed my original post idea.
Sure ship kits take weeks to get and if player can not wait they can just buy them and they should.

But same time we should get the taste as we get the taste with the paintjobs. Right now we have lets say 6 paintjobs in 1 paintjob bundle and when update comes we can pick one of the paintjob out of those 6 and buy it for example. Wound't it be fair to have same system for the Ship Kits too. Rather us have that bundle we could then get lets say one kit part out of for example 20. Giving player taste... this way player if he/she really wants to fully get his ship customized with Ship kit he can just wait more ARX from the gameplay what takes indeed weeks or he just goes and buys what he/she wants.
