As with the other game's big DLC packs (except the Aquatic and Arctic Packs in their unique ways), this pack focuses on an entire continent, rather than a specific region of that continent like the Southeast Asian Animal Pack. Because of this, it would be something that contains 5 animals maximum and plenty of placable objects from foliage, structures, etc. just like the others.
(HABITAT ANIMAL IDEAS)
1. Przewalski's horse: A wild horse species that has been critically endangered, and even extinct in the wild, in the past. Since then, conservation efforts have been placed to preserve and reintroduce the species, including the Wild Animal Park in San Diego of my home state.
2. Leopard (Amur, Sri Lankan): Leopards in general are very endangered, but especially the Armur leopard of East Asia, in which conservation efforts are placed heavily for them.
3. Asiatic Lion: The only lion population that survives in Asia, and only found in India. Historically, it had a much winder range, but now it's been reduced heavily, but reintroductory programs are placed in hopes of bringing back the Asian lion in other parts of the world where it once inhabited.
4. Deer (Sika, Sambar, Chital, Père David's, Muntjac): Asia has many kinds of deer species, coming in all shapes and sizes from mid-sized to fairly small like the muntjacs. Some of these deer species are even introduced to non-native ranges. And some of them are endangered, one of which is currently extinct in the wild.
5. Yak: Big hairy cattle from Himalayas. Domesticated yaks are used by humans throughout much of mainland Asia, but it's the Wild yaks that are threatened and are their domesticated equivalent ancestors. Wild yaks are predominantly from western China that live in herds.
6. Markhor: A wild goat species with huge corkscrew-like horns from the mountains of mainland Asia.
7. Siamang: A species of gibbon from Southeast Asia, predominantly in Sumatra, known for their impressive loud vocalizations. I often see this gibbon species in zoos I've been to, more notably to me is the San Francisco Zoo of my home state, California.
8. South China tiger: A tiger population from southern China. It's a very endangered tiger sub-species, and may be extinct in the wild of its native range. The more well-known population of these tigers are outside of their range in captivity and even a reserve in South Africa.
(EXHIBIT ANIMAL IDEAS)
1. Mangrove snake: A vibrant gold and black venomous snake from Southeast Asia.
2. Burmese python: A large snake native to Southeast Asia, some of which can come in various colors in captivity. In their native range, they are classified as "Vulnerable" by the IUCN, but are also invasive in the Southern USA.
3. Tokay gecko: A gecko species from Southeast Asia that is culturally significant and is capable of making loud vocal calls.
4. Cobra (King, Indian): Cobras are venomous snakes known for their hood-like features on their necks in which they expand when rearing upward. There are many species of Cobra from Asia, and two examples are the Indian and King cobras. They are very significant to Asian cultures, particularly in India.
5. Japanese giant salamander: One of few extant species of giant aquatic salamanders in the world, it is a vulnerable species in Japan that it even hybridizes with the Chinese giant salamander.
*As for scenery objects, I don't know much about scenery objects myself in regards as to what this game doesn't have yet that could work from both a floral and building theme perspective. If anyone has any suggestions for any of these two categories, I'd like to see them.
