During yesterday's livestream I encountered a few strange goings-on with game assets. At the start of the stream, I took an elevator to the Concourse and when the doors opened an NPC rush in. I got out and look round. It was bent in the defensive position and took out an invisible weapon, only for the weapon to briefly appear then the NPC was confused in there and eventually came out and went on it's normal path. Never seen anything like that before.
Also during the stream were Concourse NPC's buried in the ground, some above ground, in the couch, the terminals were different heights. It was quite the mess. I was teamed up and I think team instances are a major problem when it comes to stuff like this, and sharing missions in particular. We shared a mission and my team mate shot an NPC and it turned out the body (for him) had fallen off the roof to the ground. For me the same body was still on the roof. How does this even happen?
We had other issue like scavengers not appearing on a teamed scavenger kill mission. Just dropships coming in and leaving constantly but no-one being dropped off. When we approached and NPC's were getting dropped off, none of the kills counted towards the mission.
We ended the team and I was able to complete the mission after re-instancing.
It was hot mess. Elite has had instancing issues since the day of release but the team instancing is just really bugged and I hope they sort it or at least improve it.
