Auto launch on cutter broken?

Is it only my cutter having problems with auto launch? It stubbornly hits its forehead 5-10 meters above the mailslot every time. Not sure if some legacy modifications, but quick search returned nothing.

My Cutter does fine but have only used ADC egress on a few orbiting stations just to check out the new toy. Maybe station specific?

On approach the standard DC often scraped the Cutter landing gear if down before activating it. This was so the ship could not boost at the wrong time which used to occur with the DC. The new ADC doesn't allow gear down until just before landing so watch out for a boost. Coming in fast-n-low at a planetary station the ADC likes to boost a lot.

I think it gets into trouble if any other ships are launching. It seems to move over too far when giving way and doesn't make it back to the station axis in time when heading for the slot.

Cutter's need the personal touch. They don't like it when you hand the controls over to a computer. It's banging it's head trying to dislodge the controller...

Also docking seems to have issues sometimes, just had to manually override the autopilot as it would endlessly hover 30-40 meters above the landing pad, advanced docking computer seems like beta and downright downgrade from the standard one

It's not just the Cutter, most ships I tested out have problems with auto-dock or -launch in one situation or another.
Definitely annoying, the bigger the ship, the worse it gets.

Definitely seems like it, haven't done much testing in cobra/clipper, but the few times I let it roll as was not in a hurry it worked, cutter is so slow to undock that always ends up getting in a queue which very likely is the reason it then heads above the slot (4/4 times I left it do its thing), docking seems more reliable, with the hovering bug just happening once, no issues with planetary outposts so far (also I believe all my internals are now non-legacy engineered and it is still happening, so looks like this was not the reason as I assumed in the beginning)
