What builds, mate, I'm on such a creative low, I haven't build in weeks...

I imagine there could be a piece of cover art for every song, otherwise sitting through 12 tracks without changing pictures might get boring. They could then sneak something new into one of these covers, without even having to mention it and still let the stream be about the music.
There will still be time in the week to give us Some kind of news pertaining to the new content.
The 8th (9th for me) - that’s my little girl’s 1st birthday so I wouldn’t get to play it for several days.
My birthday is on the 9th so either way, this will be one of my gifts whether it comes out on the 4th, 11th, 18th.
I'm still not sure if tomorrow's sound of summer stream will hint next DLC because they didn't mention it as "special" but let's wait and see what will happen tomorrow. They could announce both DLC and update news together at same time like they did for new JWE2 DLC, of course this is not JWE2, but they could do new patterns of announcing new DLC/New update like conservation pack
This is pretty uncharted territory. We're off the usual presumed pattern/schedule from a timing perspective... And they've thrown this random lo-fi beats stream at us without any other "special" stream on the horizon. But they did it without telling us if the stream will be hosted or if they'll just be posting the audio (feels like the latter).
Really curious to see what happens and hoping for more news within the next day or so... (And the SteamDB continues to get updated.)

40 pages later and now I'm seeing the group consensus is that there will be no hint or announcement to go along with the stream, now?
Didn't the same backfile folder that always coincide with an upcoming DLC on Steam emerge last week? Essentially confirming new content is imminent? Am I mistaken? I thought I saw that a few days ago on here.

Nah, you're right. Between the SteamDB getting updated and the recent financial report stating there are more DLC coming... It's pretty obvious that something is on the way.
It's the "Sounds of Summer" announcement with no additional news that's throwing people off. And the fact that nobody really knows precisely what that stream will entail. They haven't said whether it will be hosted or not and the way they're describing it makes it sound like it's just going to be 80 minutes of music with nothing else.
But who knows. And just because the stream itself doesn't have news... It doesn't mean we won't get it elsewhere. It's just a matter of when.
Guys I think music or something related to sounds could be the theme of the dlc… remember the last couple of “special” streams. The theme was hinted and then an animal was hinted. I think that they know we’ve caught on and could start introducing special streams as other things. Again I’m prepared for it just to be music and I’d love that for itself but I do think this might tease something to the upcoming theme….
