This probably won't happen, but how would you guys react if we got a bunch of fixes instead of a DLC?
Since I am not having any significant issues atm, I would probably be dissapointed. There are things I would love to be fixed, like the clouded leopard jumping in slow motion, several glitched animations, etc. but it would never substitute getting new animals for me.

Or in patches there would be missing animals and of course a fixed Malayan tapir (But fortunately they don't bother me enough not to use them.)
I think a set of all patches could work nicely as the free update. Or even as an anniversary surprise.
I don't think they'd work as well as a dlc, since that would make them unavailable to players who didn't buy it. (Although I probably still would!).

I do not see this happen by 99%. There is no real reason to believe that the next Update could be different to the previous ones. And one further reason is that a DLC brings money compared to extensive fixes.
