Autumn DLC Speculation

On a side note, I love how Frontier always wait to post their update announcement until right when I'm back from work. Just got home, randomly checked the forum and first thing I see is the announcement from two minutes ago. Wasn't even the first time that happened. Perfect timing, especially considering that I don't have set working hours 😂

"Educators will either hold them one-handed, two-handed, or on their shoulder"

This quote from today's announcement, especially the reference to educators holding exhibit animals on their shoulder, has made me think about... maybe birds/parrots coming with next DLC as exhibit animals? Who knows... 😇

Don't fear y'all, I'm not held hostage and am not kidnaped, but who else thought about the Ara in the Zoo Tycoon game when hearing exhibit animals on shoulder? Now, still think it's a streeeetch and Aras certainly should not be exhibit animals, but that was the first thing that came to my mind, funny enough.

Now that came parallel. But as I said, parrots in exhibits should be a no no.

I hear semi working animal shows. Put an exhibit behind stage and some building skills can make a believable animal show where the educators show guests the tiny exhibit animals. Hoping small habitat animals are possible in the future

The piebald variant seems a bit intriguing to me.... I'm thinking that it's possible that one or more animals in the DLC will have this trait. Do you any of you know of animals that commonly display pibaldism? I only know ball pythons lol
When I write "pibaldism animal" into Google search the most Shown animal is a deer, perhaps the White Tailed Deer. I am not sure. I am even more convinced that we could get a woodlands pack.

I think "on the shoulder" would more likely refer to bigger snakes? At least that was how I first understood it. Wouldn't read too much into it for now, to be honest.

Not gonna lie.... These features are making me scared that we might get a red fox, raccoon, or North American/European deer. These are my personally least favorite highly requested animals because they are local to me and just mediocre in my opinion, but they are still animals so 🥲

Hush hush, no, they are amazing and I want those. Guess we just gotta disagree

I would like it. It allows to make something like local Wildparks or local areas within a Zoo. As a European I would prefer the Red Deer. Plus Red Fox and Wild Boar this would be sufficient in my opinion.
