1. Himalayan
2. Grizzly
3. Syrian
4. Eurasian

?
Correct

Imo, only one that looks noticably distinct besides size is the grayish white fur of the syrian brownbear, but in the end i dont think any 2 brownbear species have enough visual differences to be along side each other in the game.
Imo i want a second brown bear from eurasia because of geographic reasons and to get a better Model, but if the eurasian or the syrian one i couldnt care less

Since Asia already has 4 bears in game and Europe only has the polar bear, I would prefer the Eurasian over the Syrian bear just for geographical reasons, since the Eurasian range is much more larger even if the look of it is not that different (but I hope the model wouldn't be as fat as the current brown bears).

Listen guys, I know mods are not for everyone, but personally I would prefer any brown bear beging a mod and rather get the sloth bear and maybe the spectactled as official. The movements of the sloth bear seem so different and with maaaybe updated juvenile to parent behaviour in the future (I know, sniffing got me into unrealism mode for a minute), I'd LOVE seeing sloth bears carrying their babies around.

Realisticly, any brownbear would only be in a clone pack, where the other bears wouldnt be anyways, so its really not compareable.
No one wants them in a normal dlc, just as a bonus and having a good, not obese looking bear from a new geographical region as a bonus sounds great to me

Right, forgot for a second we are in clone pack creation mode here.

By the way, anyone seen Rudis video about the future of PZ and that he assumes that we'll actually get support much longer than the end of 2022? Not sure if I'm ready to jump on that train yet, but his arguments seems valid and to this point I still think it wouldn't be exactly smart of Frontier to kill off one of their best selling games just yet.

15 minutes of convincing himself that birds and aquariums will come, because last 3 updates brang requested features at this stage of the game thus there is bright future?
Rudi took his heavy dose of hopium, so I should do to.

The only reason there is this notion that we are nearing support is based of off Planet Coaster's life span. The game was released in late 2016 and received its last DLC sometime in April 2019 I believe, and in November 2019 Planet Zoo released.

So far there is no indicator that we're nearing the end and every single time there is DLC around the corner, the "end is near" conversations arise again. I think the difference here is that Planet Zoo offers online play with Franchise mode. I suspect that sometime down the line franchise servers will be shut down, and that for me will be one of the most telling signs that the game is done. Until that happens, I have no reason to believe we are done, and I am looking forward to all the future DLCs and updates, whatever the amount may be. :giggle:

Well, yes, that seemed indeed far fetched (especially full aquatic animals, I'm 100% sure we will never get them, birds I could see), but in general he's right that at least this update with brachiation and sniffing behaviour put far more effort into the game than a "dieing" installment would do if we only had 2 DLCs after tuesday left.

As I said, not ready to jump on the hope train just yet, but at least I'm not completly convinced it's a ghost train anymore.

I mean, at least we are not thinking anymore that "THIS" DLC will be the last one until this year in decembre :D

Haven’t seen it but will have s as look. At this stage (not having seen what he has to say) I could see it going either way.

I believe in support within the year 2023 but honestly I do not believe in aviaries or aquariums. But if we should get one of these packs I must say I am ready to also believe in support in 2024.

That’s pretty much where I am. If we get flying birds then great but it’s not something I have any expectations of. I would really like birds like pelicans, ducks, geese, swans and storks which would totally work as the game is but are really lacking.
